Every spreadsheet I see for skins for the Vault Hunters has Drives for Miles listed as a challenge that, once complete, will grant a skin. However, I have nearly everything completed under the vehicle challenge section (the power slide challenge and turret kill challenges both just need level 5) and I don’t see anything even remotely related to a “Drives for Miles” challenge. Is this a bug, or am I missing something?
Nope, I concur with your analysis. There is no such challenge and the skins tables in the places that I know of seem to list it as such for obtaining certain skins.

My theory is the new unobtainable skins are part of the campaign DLC and (like many other things) was bugged and had info leaked about them, drives for miles could be a challenge that gets added in the DLC
