The Ideal Playthrough?

Coming back to BL2 after a looong hiatus. Starting from scratch with a fresh Krieg - all previous characters/gear deleted. I was hunting around to see if I could find an “ideal playthrough” thread similar to the one stickied for BL1 - http://oldforums.gearboxsoftware.com/oldforums/20150308090351/http://oldforums.gearboxsoftware.com/showthread.php?t=112350 Followed that guide for all my BL1 playthroughs and it worked pretty well.

So would anyone care to offer either a detailed or a TL:DR rundown on the ideal playthrough for BL2? Looking to save all the good juicy gear until its at a level of value for UVHM.

I’ve heard that there is no point doing side missions in TVHM, but I could be wrong.

There is no ideal playthrough. Just farm HH bosses when you need to level up.

I’d just do the main story missions in Normal and True unless you need XP. Save the side quests and DLCs until Ultimate unless you’re looking for specific gear, then do the mission(s) @ level 50 in True.

My ideal playthrough in all three game modes is to do every story mission, every side mission and all of the DLC, mostly in order. But I only do it like that because I’m crazy, so don’t listen to me.

Except for doing all the dlc I tend to play like that- I have to get the Slaughter Domes done first before doing any dlc, and Sir Hammerlock is still the dlc that I’ve played the least- I still haven’t done it with every character yet in any play mode…
