Mix of Comrade Jack and Darth Timothy?

I want a mixed build of both builds mentioned in the title.

Specifically:

  • Bullpup
  • Fatale
  • T4s-R
  • Hyperion Splitter or Mining Laser
  • Chronicler of Elpis COM
  • Nova Shield (probably cryo or explosive)
  • 3DD1.E or Support Relay (which one would be better?)
  • Quasar or Nasty Surprise (I lean towards Nasty Surprise)

And the build: http://thepresequel.com/Jack/50410104011000550501150101505015000000

What do you think about it? What could I improve?

I quite like it, adding more nova spam is great, I wanted to do that but then it would be just been too close to my Sith build. Cryo nova for sure, with the bonuses from the com and since the shield goes off before optimism that boost is great.

With 5/5 in persistence I don’t know if you need 4 in Hero Pose but then again those 2 stacks you should have no survival issues when your Jacks are down.

If you don’t need that survival 9/5 lean on me is pretty amazing 63% fire rate at full health and with this build you will be at full health a lot.

As far as gear play with it but I think with 9/5 company man splitters > mining laser. The ML has a set fire pattern and can only get so tight, where the splitters with that accuracy look like beams. Sure they have lower cryo chance but between the com and cryo nova shields that is hardly an issue, even more so if they have penetrator luneshine.

Bullpup and T4s-R are also both good choices, T4s-R’s high proc chance combined with type B crit bonus fits really well and the Bullpup should be almost a sniper with this.

I also think the Support Relay helps this more than 3DD1.E because you have so much high crit buffs, cryo buffs that you want to stack more base damage to take advantage of those big buffs.

Thanks for your quick reply. I really appreciate it.

I wasn’t sure which one goes off first. But in this case the choice is obvious.

Great! I prefer offense over defense so that’s a great suggestion.

Oh, I thought the ML would get the accuracy bonus, too. :disappointed:

I look forward to my sniper puppy. :dog:

You’re right. My thought was that Eddie could buff the lasers and strip some shields. But a cryo Support Relay sounds better - I like my enemies frozen.

The support adds more to this than many realize.

Lets do without a fatale with all the crits and cryo bonus

100 x 2 x (1 + 144% + 30% + 200% +75%) x (1 + 44%) = 1,581

Now with 25% damage from the support relay but it can get higher

100 x (1 + 25%) x 2 x ( 1 + 144% + 30% + 200% + 75%) x (1 + 44%) = 1,976

Thats a big difference to all your guns

Is freeze chance on a cryo support relay boosted by the COM?

A good Shield for that build could be the Deadly Bloom and, of course, The Avalanche.

DB if you’re using more Cryo weapons, The A if not.

About weapons, I use Purple Synergie of every Element (mainly Cryo and Shock), and it does wonders against anything under the crosshair !
Win-Win Vision are also very efficient, with a very high Base Damage.

I found a standard Maliwan Cryo Nova shield to be the most efficient - overall good stats, much faster and therefore better than the DB or The A.
