I won’t explain too much here. Good part of you, K badasses, know that I run hellborn.
My question comes to the grenades. I won’t explain the effect that the Storm Front has with our meat mans, neither the Quasar. But my question is the following, which one would you choose?
Storm Front: constant healing and shield stripping (gaining Bloodlust stacks on Bloodlust K’s, d’oh)
Quasar: shield stripping, but no healing. Healing comes from the enemies that are under elemental states.
Been a long user of the SF, but the Quasar tells me “PICK ME UP ■■■■■■■■■■■■”. Would have been cool if we ever had some grenade mode like the Florentine (deals slag and shock at the same time).
Thoughts?, thanks in advance dear passengers of the poop train.
FORGOT TO TELL: I usually use (damn this grammar xD) the Magic Missile for slagging, yet I have a Slagga for emergencies in determinated situations.
The Stormfront is both good at shield stripping and dealing damage which makes it one of the most destructive grenades in the game against virtually every enemy. The Stormfront is also rather user friendly as the only times it will damage the user is when it is deployed and when it expires. I use it both on Salvador and Gaige for healing and damage respectively.
On Krieg though I favor the Quasar since it yanks enemies close to each other, stunning them briefly, and making them easy pickings for melee as well as chaining Bloodsplosions. It does not do as much damage as the Stormfront but it still does a sizable amount of damage. Generates blood stacks as well but not as much as the Stormfront does. Being that I play Krieg as melee makes the Quasar a better choice than the Stormfront.

In my opinion, magic missile is one of the worst grenades a melee char could use due to it’s tracking system that seems to focus on the enemies that are currently visible on the screen. I’ve put myself to ffyl countless times by throwing the grenades towards a cluster of enemies in some direction and turn around to approach another group only to have the grenades also turn around to track explode the enemies closer to me, thus, putting myself into ffyl.
