How to level up, cant find any more quests, stuck at W4R-D3N

I am level 14, and have no slag weapons. The only quest I have is to kill W4R-D3N at the FG. I need slag weapons, and from what I understand they drop after level 17. I have no other quests, what can I do cause I am stuck.

W4r-D3N and all other constructors are immune to slag and other DOT effects. A Vladof sniper to the eye is an effective way of dealing with constuctors, but really the only trick is to hit them hard and fast in the yeye (the crit spot). The biggest problem with the warden is the shield, it’s tough and won’t stay down for long, but shock weapons can dispose of it relatively quickly. Strip the shield and switch to a corrosive or explosive weapon. Rocket launchers are great too.

There are two red Hyperion chests in the friendship gulag, both of them near the back, one is on a roof and requires a little jumping to get to. Farm them for toys, and go back and tear the warden a new one.

I have plenty of shock weapons, i can get the warden down to half, but I keep dying. I just cant seem to do it and I am getting frustrated.

Are your weapons same level as you? Are you using your grenades?

What character and build?

Not completely immune, but the effects wash off fairly quickly. That said, shock for the shield and corrosive for the rest. Homing or longbow grenades and rocket launchers (especially Vladof or Maliwan) are your friends if you can get your hands on them. A good source of grenades is the golden chest in Sanctuary (still lots of SHiFT keys available.)

To OP: Are you still at Bloodshot ramparts, or did Warden get away to Friendship Gulag?

Im at the gulag

Level 14 sniper
you can see my current build here:

Tesla grenades and a rocket launcher. Throw every Tesla grenade you have at it and shoot it’s eye with the launcher. Done and done.

The Gulag can be pretty crazy. If you didn’t already pick up the side-missions in the Dust, you could do those. Doc Mercy and Savage Lee respawn, so you can always hit them again. Similarly, all the assassins in Southpaw Steam & Power (once you’ve done Assassinate the Assassins from the Sanctuary bounty board.)

I’m not sure of the best strategy for the Gulag - only ever had to do that once (my first play through). Try and make use of the containers and pillars for cover, prioritize the hardest-hitting enemies, and try to land as many critical hits on Warden’s eye as possible. You can second-wind off the turrets he spawns.

I can’t see your build because Twitter doesn’t like me. You can use this site, then just copy-paste the complete URL:

Wow that site is cool!

I am not a great sniper either, I used to play Axton, which I really liked, but I wanted to try Zero. I may have to go back to him cause the turret is OP

I would be tempted to take the points out of 0ptics and go with Headsh0t and Killer - kill skills are invaluable in a mobbing situation. You want B0re and 0S0K next. The optics skill sounds good in principal, but it doesn’t help you that much in a mob like Warden @ Gulag because you really need to be moving and shooting continuously. In your current situation, I’d be using grenades, a rocket launcher, SMGs/plasma casters, and decent shotguns.

I honestly didn’t even realise that W4R-D3N could escape to Friendship Gulag, I guess I’ve been fortunate enough to take him out before that happened…god knows how as until fairly recently I’ve been pretty poor at this game.

As for advice, I’d definitely agree with @VaultHunter101 and suggest respeccing with 5 points in ‘headshot’ and 4 in ‘killer’. The constructors eye isn’t too difficult to target (assuming it’s little eye shield thing isn’t up) and the extra crit damage will help a lot. I’d also suggest losing the commerce, as far as I can tell from the picture it’s only a level 6 and that isn’t going to be doing a huge amount of damage to a level 12 (ish, can’t remember the exact level) constructor. The slapper should still be useful but finding a decent at level tesla grenade/shock weapon and corrosive weapon will be more efficient. If you have any spare golden keys lying around it may be a good time to use them.

If nothing else works, there is one spot where you can crit-snipe W4R-D3N relatively safely and rather quickly (depending on what gun you use)…

…head for the red circled area (W4R-D3N is the yellow circle). The white dot is where you want to stand, either halfway up the stairs or on the ramp-like thingy next to the stairs. You’ll actually be aiming/shooting either under or thru a number of handrails that are between you and it, but that spot will give you a good view of the constructor’s eye while shielding you from most all of its attacks. You will still need to deal with all the loaders, etc that arrive to defend it (some of these will come looking for you, BTW, so watch for them), but with luck most of those will arrive after W4R-D3N is down and Roland is free to help you.

If all else fails you can try to find a corrosive Gwen’s Head in The Dust- only drawback is that I’m not sure what the level of it will be…

From the wiki - Whenever obtained, a new Gwen’s Head’s level is based on the current plot mission.

If you are still stuck and truly need assistance I can join and try to help you get kill the bastard

I usually sneak and fight my way up the far left side of that map around that last big building. It has an overhanging roof there that seems to help lots with keeping the surveyors electrical shots off of you, and can also help with cover from many rockets, mortars, etc… Once I thin out the walker types, I take out any remaining surveyors then creep up the stairs and unload on the W4R-D3Ns critical spot (the eye or just behind it from the side), running back for cover if I need it. Lots of grenades, a decent corrosive sniper rifle (or a regular one and some kind of fairly accurate corrosive weapon), and patience are all it really takes to win there. Not running out of ammo and knowing when to retreat and regroup are also high on the survival list.

Gwen’s Head levels up when the Dust levels up. The Dust levels up when there are new missions that take place in the Dust. Good, Bad and Mordecai, The Bane or Toil & Trouble. So you should be able to find a GH that is around lvl 12. I would recommend a shock version, since W4R-D3N’s shield is pretty tough. And while he still has his shield, your shots won’t interrupt the build process. As soon as the shield goes down, pop him in the eye and digi-de-struct! Gwen’s Head should be able to finish him off completely no matter the element, except fire ofc.

Toss a few grenades on the trash-bots to keep them in check while you deal with that pesky “dumpster wrapped in sadness”.

I got someone to help out, and we cleared warden with no problem. Thanks everyone for your help.
