Hi all,
I am currently playing a level 72 Melee Krieg and just recently was able to kill my first raid boss solo, which was Pyro Pete. Pete isn’t very difficult once you get down how to destroy him with bloodlust stacks, slag, and bloodsplosion. It’s really fun though.
Anyway the next raid boss I want to move onto is Terramorphous. I was wondering if anybody could recommend a spec and set of gear that they have used to solo Terramorphous in the past. A strategy as well. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Check out the Time Trials thread for videos of people who have soloed him. If you want to Bloodsplode him, you’ll need:
A legendary sickle
A rapier
A grog/rubi for healing
An explosive weapon that processes Blood Bath like a Carnage.
A slag bouncing bonny or crossfire
A roid shield (The Hide of Terra is the best, but a Love Thumper will do in a pinch. Try to use an inflammable one for T’s fire phase if you go that far.)
A lobbed/longbow Storm Front/tesla grenade with the lowest possible fuse time (0.0)
And this spec. The rest of the points you can put wherever you want.
Basically what you do is use the SF/Grog to stay alive until the masher tentacle phase. When Terra pops those out, you switch over to the slag grenade, slag everything and either stab a tentacle with the rapier or using Release the Beast if it’s available (make sure your shield is down!). If you’re lucky, your BS will start a chain reaction that’ll either kill T outright or knock him down far enough you can finish him off quickly. The Torgue weapon is for killing the tentacles quickly and refilling your grenades; just remember to aim for their crit spots.
You can also go full Hellborn and use a Fire Interface, a fire Bone of the Ancients, a Flame of the Fire Hawk (not an inflammable one!), and the Bonny/Crossfire using this spec. You’ll need to keep T slagged as much as possible and try to hit his crit spots with the Interfacer. Do it right and you should melt him before he gets to his fire phase.

Anytime. It’s been a long time since I’ve fought Terra and never could get the BS to work, but I never really tried.
A fire Conference Call is a good substitute.

Would a DPUH work for this?[/quote] Blood Bath resource guide. If it isn’t listed, it doesn’t process BB. The Harold is a good weapon to hit the tentacles with, but I wouldn’t rely on it processing BB. I think I used a Heartbreaker on the Tentacles. Anyway, good luck.
Yes it only drops off Voracidous, Dexidous, and Omnd-Omnd-Ohk in UVHM. I believe it used to be sold by Seraph vendors at one point, but was removed.
If I get desperate enough and can’t manage to obtain it on my own, I may go the trade route. As for now I have managed to obtain all the gear for the bloodspode version other than a Rapier and the explosive weapon. I’m going to try and go this route to kill Terra first, and if I can’t pull it off, I’ll go the hellborn route.
