Greetings everyone, great to be back with another Borderlands event, and this time we’re going to make this one bigger and beter than before. Welcome to the most all inclusive farming event for the Borderlands series. ANY PERSON can participate at ANY LEVEL and the newly implemented scoring system allows for people who don’t own all the games in the series to participate and still receive a point total for their desired game’s sub-category.

This event will incorporate every single Borderlands game in the series. With a point-system that spans multiple mini categories for each individual games as well as a comprehensive tier leaderboard that can incorporate all the games in the series, this event allows for more participation by adjusting the level restriction that was a part of the previous events.

RATHER than have everyone required to be max level:

###For Borderlands 1:
—> You may only farm PLAYTHROUGH 1 if you are LEVEL 1 TO LEVEL 35
—> You may only farm PT2+ if you are LEVEL 36 TO LEVEL 69

###For Borderlands 2:
—> You may only farm PT1 if you are LEVEL 1 TO LEVEL 30
—> You may only farm PT2 if you are LEVEL 31 TO LEVEL 50
—> You may only farm PT3 if you are LEVEL 51-72
—> You may only farm the OP LEVELS IF YOU HAVE THE SAME OP LEVEL GEAR
[Eg. To play on OP3 you must only use OP3 or below gear]

###For Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel:
—> You may only farm PT1 if you are LEVEL 1 TO LEVEL 30
—> You may only farm PT2 if you are LEVEL 31 TO LEVEL 50
—> You may only farm PT3 if you are LEVEL 51 TO LEVEL 60

When you gain an item YOU CANNOT FARM THE SAME ITEM FOR ADDITIONAL POINTS. If an item is found once, you can no longer gain points if the same item is found again.

  • All players who participate in co-op may be any character, even a duplicate of one in the same party, However they must all be the same level.
  • All items must be farmed from [one of] their assigned drop[s], however:

###Borderlands 1 Ruleset

  • Solo Farming Except
  • Up to 4P for Crawmerax
  • Knoxx’s Armory is allowed

###Borderlands 2
Co-Op Raid Regulations:

  • 1P for Pyro Pete
  • 2P for Hyperius the Invincible
  • 2P for Ancient Dragons of Destruction
  • 2P for Terramporhous the Invincible
  • 2P for Master Gee the Invincible
  • 2P for Magic Slaughter Round 6: Badass Round / Ogre Farm
  • 4P for Voracidous the Invincible
    General Rules:
  1. The Leech and Impaler can come from either the Warrior/Handsome Sorcerer.
  2. All blue variant magic grenades (DLC4) can come from either their assigned mob or the Handsome Sorcerer.
  3. The Bee can come from Hunter Hellquist/DLC4 Treants.
  4. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, Pyrophobia, Sledge’s Shotgun, Norfleet, Hornet, and Shredifier can come from Hyperius.
  5. Pitchfork can come from Master Gee as well as Terramorphous.
  6. All raid Seraphs must come from their assigned bosses listed.
  7. You may have 4 players in your party for OOO, and Ultimate Badass Varkid spawning.
  8. 4P Game Scaling via slider/Hyperius/Gee arena is not allowed.
  9. No Digistruct Peak unless otherwise stated.
  10. No Gun Merging
  11. No Rocket/Offhand Dmg. Transfer (eg. Flakker/Ahab, Pimpernel/Ahab)
  12. No Morningstar Crit Stacking.
  13. No Hoplite/Infinite Health
  14. No respec machine skill stacking (eg. Rising Sh0t stacking)
  15. Items from Loot Midgets are not accepted, unless otherwise stated.
  16. No Out-of-Bounds.
  17. No obviously modded BAR. (Legit BAR is fine)
  18. No Zombie Maya/Immolate

###Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

  • Zarpedon during story mode can be used for ZX-1 / Bulwark Shield [Single Player Only]
  • Solo farming except:
  • 4P for the Invincible Sentinel
  • 4P for Repeatable Holodome Arena round

Please remember that the team leaderboards are seperate from above leaderboards. To participate in team leaderboards you must confirm all drops with all members in the party at all times, and no solo drops from individual #TheHunt participation will count towards the team progress. All teams will be locked in to the category that they sign up under, and no team can add/subtract members after confirming a team.

So to participate, you have to stream your farming, right? You can only enter if you’re doing it via Twitch?

Yes the spreadsheet entry will be for Twitch participants, drops need to be streamed for verification. People are welcome to farm alongside those on Twitch and compare their own scores.

Thanks for the reply! I tried testing out my stream today, got an average of 20 FPS… And couldn’t get my audio to work at all… Also farmed Doc Mercy on stream for a bit and got an Infinity…

so the rules on team farming are what, if one person gets the drop it counts for everyone?

For solo players teaming up with other players for raids, as long as all players are in the party when an item drops it counts for everyone.

Those teams competing for the Teams Leaderboard will have the same rule, all players must be present when each drop happens.
