“Ranye, why u no “X”?”

Unstoppable force, Fancy math, and Buck up all negate you shield delay.

The Gear:

Grog Nozzle (for slag/health)
Flame of the Firehawk (as long of a delay as possible)
Fire ancients relic (for fire/cooldown)
Legendary Anarchist class mod (for desirable skill and gun damage)
Chain lightning Grenade (because, reasons)

The point:

this build is basically using your FOtF as your weapon. With Nozzle in hand, smack enemies with your cute little hammer until they take down your shield. Then there are a lot of fire novas, each one healing you. Get a kill, boom, full shields. Rinse and repeat, get teh loots.

As a bonus, Deathtrap flies around doing the same thing.

Edit: You CAN use more than just the Grog Nozzle, and put skill points elsewhere as you see fit, but the basic idea is the same…

Why are you using FotFH and BSS? That’s not going to work dude.

Also, using FotFH is generally religated to charecters with strong health gain abilities, which gaige does not have, I wouldn’t expect this build to work very well at 72+

Also, the stare and shock and AHHH are not worth the points

I’m with wings day, krieg does this the best then Maya because of lifetap and fleet.

IIRC, people used to run it alot on sal, but I think it has been mostly replaced by the RR at this point

You do realize that BSS completely fills your shield whenever you or DT makes a kill? That skill negates using the FotFH as your primary offensive weapon. Also, as Wings’ pointed out, this build is not particularly viable @ 72 and certainly not in the OP levels.

DT can still spam the FotFH though, so the damage is there. If you really want to go this way, try to change your COM to the Legendary Mechromancer if you still want to boost Gaige own DPS or the Legendary Roboteer to full support DT. MoSS and PaaP make DT more durable so you can spam your novas for a longer. Both of them give you enough DPS as you are very vulnerable without DT with this setup.

But the point about BSS is valid. If you want to spam it too its better to leave BSS aside so you can survive until DT comes out again by holding your Grog. Or even use the Kitten, you will have enough range to use it properly.
Also, I would change the grenade to the Magic Missile or another source of Slag.

Remember, this build is for just for fun, and yes, it works at OP8. BSS resets the shield every time you get a kill to set off a whole new salvo of novas, that’s the point. the grog nozzle is all you need for slagging. Chain lighting can pop your shield for you.Yes, the com is really irrelevant, as is most of the little big trouble skill tree.

This would work just fine.

I personally dont like Explosive Clap, so I fill 20% Cooler with the point. BSS is fine for your survivability but not that great with the FotFH because it makes you throw out less novas. It “resets” your shield so you waste time breaking it again. In the middle of the heat your shield wont recharge probably so its better to stay throwing novas in my opinion.
Also, try Annoyed Android with this setup if you can use the Legendary Roboteer COM. DT will be like Sonic, haha.
Also, the Legendary Roboteer was like made for this kind of setup. Try it, for real.
Also, try the Kitten too. It is probably the best gun at the range that this setup requires.

Right now I’m using this build with a FotF and a L. Roboteer class mod- weapons are Hail’s, Fibbers, Lady Fists, GN, Heart Breaker, Casual Swordsplosion, a caustic Pimpernel and Magic Missile/slag O-Negetive…

Try the Kitten instead of the Hail. It is better in this range in my opinion and doesnt hurt your aim.
Also, doesnt Fancy Maths hurt your nova spam?

And I would max Annoyed Android rather than Typecast Iconoclast. And The Better Half rather than Cooking Up Trouble as you will be holding your Kitten almost all the time.
At least is what I do when I run a FotFH setup.

Yes, Fancy Math hurts your recharge delay. You don’t want any skill that will speed it up, so Buck Up and also Unstoppable Force are out too.

Legendary Roboteer definitely works well with this build, and in all honesty, using this build is more suited to a defensive strategy for survivability while using other weapons as you source of DPS, i just think it’s funny to run around smacking people w/ her hammer…

Skock and Augghh synergizes really well with a texas coach gun or bushwhack cuz you can also spam shockk novas w/ the stupid quick reload speeds and smaller, lighter, faster. Shock damage definatley falls off at OP levels, but hey, it’s still some more DOTs on screen.

But you could play more agressive with this setup if you wish. Just use a powerful Moxxi gun like the Kitten or the Heartbreaker. Both the gun, DoT and the novas are going to heal you.
But playing safe is completely fine. I just cant play this safe with Anarchy haha

Yeah, Gaige definitely wrecks face with the Heartbreaker. My TVHM limited Gaige runs Florentine and alternates between Hearbreaker and Practicable Slow Hand, (love that gun too!)

Not sure if you’re replying to me or the OC but I originally used this build to solo Terra, Pete and Hyperious, so I do use an Inflammable Bee for those occasions- and I don’t have an OP8 Kitten just yet…

The first time I slayed Terra, Hyperius and Vorac was with the FotFH and a combination of the Kitten, the Heartbreaker and the fire Touch that I dont remember right now if is the Good or the Bad. The novas are just so good when used with a Moxxi gun.
