For solo play just like bl2 where you are able to activate 4 players difficulty by visiting hyperius or master gee.

The mutator arena in the Claptastic DLC is probably the closest thing you’ll get for solo play. I haven’t seen or heard of anything like the gate glitch, but then there isn’t an area like any of the raid boss arenas in TPS.
Damn, they need a raid boss like hyperius or gee. I saw some video on difficulty slider, enemy density ready shoot up.
Btw it is challenging solo 4 p difficulty in bl2 for lvl 72 and op8 is nightmare. Fending off 5 rabid stalkers and 3 rabid skag charging at you in wep.
Personally I wouldn’t mind Hyperius but Gee can go suck a Skag.
He is so boring I’d rather watch my own arm hair grow than fight him again.

I’m sure there is a way to do so, but it is for PC only & is third party software. This makes it… Unpleasant to talk about on these forums.
As far as a console work around, I don’t believe that one exists.
I think it’s OK to talk about the 4-Player Slider as it was commonly used by PC players in BL2.
It makes the game HARDER…not easier so IIRC…no one thought of it as a “cheat.”
AFAIK it works fine on TPS but not sure.

I think silder is fine here. Too bad console needs glitch and not one in tps, at least so far. Still hoping though.
Perhaps the difficulty slider is a thing that GBX could consider putting into BL3. As far as I’m concerned, it would be a good move.
I’ve heard so many people complain that single player needs better loot. But the reality Is that for that you need one of two things; more enemies & four players is the easiest way for that, or more time played & thus you eventually run into more enemies.
So if they include the slider in the next game, single players could get more loot opportunities in the same play time, just like 4 player. many would consider it an improvement.
