Or the Health and Shield Anoint that boosts it 75% for 15 seconds while waiting for IB to coolddown…a safety factor.
Do kills while in IB benefit from that shield anoint? Or is it not taken into consideration as IB has it’s own shield and only kills as Moze count for that anoint??
I should know this already…after two years…but I just …don’t…
Plus Ultra and just one Healthy perk on the shield already makes IB basically unkillable. Without jumping in and out
Do kills while in iron bear lower the cooldown rate at all. Or does that anoint only work on Moze kills?
I’m staying in iron bear virtually 98% of the time and using the purple tree advantages. I’m trying to find what shield anoint makes the most sense for that scenario….if there is one?….
You on PSN? I have a build with the gear for it if you want.
As for the best anointment, tough call between the cooldown and exit IB health/shields.
I go with the exit IB heatlh/shields to ensure two things.
It’s easier to survive for a short period outside of IB. With my build its super rare but important.
It gives extra IB armour. Just over 8 M without and over 12 M with.
While the cooldown anointment will speed up the action skill reset while in Autobear, if the Bear dies you’re stuck and Moze is very weak. So the extra health and shields is a better safety factor.
I also use a last stand prefix on my artifact for that extra buffer.
Thanks! Am a PC guy and have just spent pretty much this entire Fourth of July weekend re-gearing up to 72.
Have a great Flair and just got a superb Heat Exchanger.
Also have A Dark Army, Rad Hex and a good but not great Otto Idol.
Spent a crap ton of a Eridium trying to get all the anoints up to speed on the new gear but oh well.
I agree you are weak when you are outside of Iron Bear. Especially with so little investment in the blue tree.
But I am outside of Iron Bear so very little….
Plasma Coil kills anything fairly quickly and as long as I don’t panic and start to move when I’m down in fight for your life…it seems to do the trick. You just need to start doing damage quickly with very little movement instead of messing around trying to switch to something poor handling and slow like a launcher.
If you’re using the purple tree skill that gives cooldown in return for dots, I’d probably pick an ASE elemental anointment on shield.
Probably corrosive.
I find that IB is so tanky at lvl72 that it’s probably better to use a shield with utility. A frozen heart with Novas on entry and exit should keep mobs at bay so that the topped off cooldown isn’t interrupted.
Anybody know if while in IB, the tankiness of the Plus Ultra and say one or two health perks will stop Anethema’s slowly broadening gold nova from killing IB when it pops?
It’s tricky but if you have excess movement speed after launching you can perform a 180 in midair inside IB, then double jump back towards the next jump pad in the next direction without sliding off. I find that too be easiest along the top platforms. If you time it right, neither nova will hit you. If you get hit in midair, you’re toast. As a bonus Anathema just stands there where you left him open to attack.
You will also feel like a badass when you pull it off.
As for your question, I don’t think there’s a combo that won’t leave you ejected from the wreck.
Another Hypothetical question…and thanks for helping me.
A fella sent me a level 65 Heat exchanger with a +4 in Feature Creep and a +1 in Scorching RPMs
I look in Lootleman and it seems that you CAN get a +4 in Feature Creep which surprised me. It seems totally legit
And even though a level 65…that +4 in Feature Creep looks just…OUTSTANDING
5 points in it give:
+90% Damage (I do not know whether it is additive or Multiplicative)
+225% Iron Bear Damage Resistance
+225% Damage Resistance!
I mean screw the miniguns if you don’t want them…doesn’t really matter… Use this Heat Exchnger with Rail Guns if you want and really…lose nothing and gain a ton more…
And that +225% Damage Reduction mixed with let’s say a 7 million Shield on IB with a Plus Ultra…
I’m thinking that just might tank Anathema’s Novas…
You can test it and let us know, but with single point in He Bites! skill the reflected damage can insta kill next phase of Anathema and that’s way more than 20 million or whatever the IB armor is now.
