Just leaving a mod suggestion that automatically level your starred gear to your level/OPlevel.
Say you got a perfect sham at normal mode (lucky you). You would keep it through your entire playthrough, instead of dropping it 6 levels later.
The implementation might be simple enough, I just don’t wanna mess with all that. An experienced modder might do it in less than a day.
