Skill tree notes:

Full can ā€˜oā€™ whoop ass can be traded for Rushinā€™ Offensive if preferred, while using a bloodletter com. If using a flare, Full can is the better option for shield healing.

Whilst mobbing, grizzled is a better single point investment for action skill cooldown. However, if fighting a boss with few adds, such as the boosted trial bosses, explosive punctuation may be slightly more effective.

Gameplay notes:

This is a cub sacrifice build designed to regularly proc big surplus and the revolter shock enrage bonus, alternatively and occasionally simultaneously. Recommended action skill set up is Iron Cub with Baby Nukes and Miniguns with Exploding. Bullets.

Most damage will come from getting into mid-range with the Soulrender so the homing skulls can proc regularly.

The high fire rate will proc them often and uRad will cause them to chain.

Aiming for crits isnā€™t articulately necessary except against bosses.

The homing skulls will occasionally target barrels, so try to eliminate them from a distance.

Baby Nukes will pick up both uRad and shock from the revolter, making it a potent tool for close range mobs.

Describe cub sacrifice to a noob, and is there anything specific about the Soulrender here that couldnā€™t be done with another weapon? Are you throwing out Iron Cub with weapons that will cause it to inadvertently kill itself to trigger action skill anointments? What about the uRad anointment makes the homing skulls chain?

Yes. Cub sacrifice in means this.
In this build it allows a player to proc the effect of the revolter shield by activating Iron Cub and having it die quickly in order to put it on cooldown activating big surplus.

The skulls do splash damage, and home in on targets essentially making the Soulrender a fast firing homing launcher. The skulls also do 20x the weapon card damage, according to loot lemon. In this build, we pick up a huge amount of multiplicative splash damage, and a massive fire rate.
The skulls are also corrosive damage like the regular bullets, but also receive 1.5x radiation from uRad, 2x shock from revolter as well as big surplus incendiary and fire in the skag den.

The hunter seeker grenades also pick up most of these bonuses as well as short fuse.

The potential for triggering 4 different dots maximises the guardian rank bonus multiplier Harmageddon where enemies take 5% more damage per unique DoT affecting them. So an extra multiplicative 20% potentially.

I am referring to the radiation DoT effectā€™s natural ability to spread via explosion here.

Nice, thanks man. I mean, you had me at ā€œCubrenderā€, but those mechanics sound fun. At the moment, only Zane gets to play with the 'render, but Iā€™ll talk him into letting Moze borrow it.

Take it wherever you want!!! Iā€™ll watch you push your build anywhere. Personally tru gaurdian and maliwan for me to see what its really hitting for.

I think concept-wise This build works just fine. Itā€™s based on all the information available here and on that discord, unless thereā€™s something new Iā€™ve missed.

Is there anything specific youā€™d point out?

Cub kills itself better with grenadelaunchers and lock n speedloaded. Cub ai doesnĀ“t take the drop of the grenades into account and most of the times just blobs them right in front of them while walking towards them. Combined with the large radius and damage they have, cub dies usually 2-3 seconds after it is summoned.

I also tried using miniguns with explosive bullets and had some akward moments when cub refused to die.

Yeah grenades do the cub in faster, but I like the slight MoD boost exp. bullets gives. We could compare omelettes at this point but both would be fancy scrambled eggs. Letā€™s calll it dealers choice.

Those skulls just destroy everything. Once youā€™re in proccing distance, everything just melts.
