What grenade should I use to maximize this?
Are we back to the tried and true Cloning Maddening Tracker knowing full well I may down myself now and then. I love the spring epicenter but it doesn’t work worth a hoot on targets in the air.
Thinking of the gas mask shield with the 50% additional fight for your life time and it’s also a very good defensive shield.
Cast Iron Cub, start chucking grenades, and let them do the work!
Maybe a dumb question but does URad on the Guardian Angel apply to each Grenade hit?
Because that would be…awesome!

Now…let’s talk the Guardian Angel. Since he whole idea is “stand-off”…
I’m thinking lower pellet count might actually be “better”
URad and Gas Mask have some good defensive synergy. You are already below health gate so you ARE going to go into FFYL from time to time…even in standoff…nice to have the 50% extra FFYL
Yes URad applies to all your grenade damage. I think that Double Downer shield might be just as good or even better than Gas Mask for getting out of FFYL. For more offensive grenade shields Old God and Revolter would be good choices.
Guardian angel is mainly for the damage boost to grenades and anointment so pellet count shouldn’t make much of a difference if you aren’t planning on shooting with it.
Green Monster works just like Blast Master for grenades and should be really effective combined with URad. You’d lose the extra points in Vampyr and Holy Pin in exchange for the corrosive damage and Scorching RPMs but I think that’s a fair trade-off.
Double Downer is actually my favorite Purple shield and is better on FFYL….no question.
But I have been surprised by the Gas Mask I have. Seems much better “protection” than Double Downer and it is actually very good defensively…and still gives me a solid boost to FFYL .
But that’s a great suggestion and I will try both.
I want to be constantly blasting away with the the Guardian Angel.
To add whatever damage I can…even though those slow pellets make it more difficult.
