Who do we talk to to fix Amara's gun damage

You want it, I want it. We’ve been raving about it for a while and gearbox seems more content with nerfing us further then fixing bugs and fixing our gun damage issue.
How do we make it happen?

Honestly, there have been at least 300 posts around here about buffing Amara, in the last month alone. So I’m sure Gearbox has heard us, but isn’t quite sure what to do and how to do it. So I would have quite a few ideas. If I may suggest some changes (all changes are bonuses per skill point):

BRAWL
Vigor: Should grant Amara 8,33% gun damage for it’s duration
Do unto Others: Increase the base damage of the orb by 50%
Jab Cross: Increase the bonus for gun damage from 3% to 10%
Blitz: Enemies hit by melee strikes now also take 25% increased damage from all sources for 10 seconds (almost a copy and paste of Laid Bare)

MYSTICAL ASSAULT
Restless: Now also grants 4% gun damage
Laid Bare: Increase the effect from 8,66% to 11%
Wrath: Increase both bonuses from 6,66% to 8,33%
From Rest: Increase the bonus to fire rate from 3% to 5%
Awakening: Increase it’s bonus from 10% to 16,66%

FIST OF THE ELEMENTS
Anima: Grant it’s status effect damage bonus mayhem scaling of up to 400% (which would effectively make it grant +100% status effect damage at 5/5 on Mayhem 10)
Wildfire: Increase the chance to spread a DoT from 8 to 12%
Catharsis needs to have a bigger radius, is otherwise fine
Conflux: Increase the chance to trigger from 7 to 10%
Forceful Expression: Increase the bonus from 18% to 35%

ENLIGHTENED FORCE
Go with the Flow: Increase the gun damage bonus from 7% to 15%
Burn both Ends: Increase the stack duration to 20 seconds

Oh how I would love this. Been waiting for Amara to be buffedm but they keep doing the opposite and keep all the other vault hunters exactly the same. It confuses me.

Thanks. Most of those changes are purely numerical in nature and the rest are either already in Amara’s code to some extend or are otherwise no new mechanics. I want to make efficient changes rather than fancy ones. Amara is already a fancy character, so all she needs is to be a bit better at doing what she does. She doesn’t even need much and most of the changes I made aren’t extreme, but I tried to improve her where she needs it most: Raw weapon damage, DoT’s and her damage formula as a whole.

Regarding my changes:

I tried to balance her FotE changes in a way that Anima becomes the groundlaying cornerstone for DoT builds it is supposed to be, which should improve her other DoT skills as well. I obviously cannot say if its enough, but as I wrote it Amara should have a lot more raw damage to build upon and should be a far better “DoT superspreader”. Edit: Also, the buff to Forceful Expression isn’t really that big, you could buff it a lot more, but I don’t think that the tree as a whole needs much more, so 35% should be fine and DoT builds would probably take that anyway as they would get that far down the tree just to get Conflux.

With the considerable buff to Jab Cross and the inclusion of Blitz’s additional effect she should have way better damage output in melee-hybrid builds as well, as the way I worded Blitz it would be a multiplier to all her damage, which is massive for her as she otherwise lacks multiplicative damage. All in all her green tree should perform MUCH better on it’s own that way as all of Amara’s skills trees should have solid standalone performances.

Mystical Assault is purely numerically changed and is meant to stronger incentivize true Rush builds while also granting more basic damage and more payoff for using your action skill.

Her purple tree is pretty good, but a bit too unrewarding towards her freezing gimmick, but unfortunately there isn’t much to do about that as the problem isn’t the lack of cryo efficiency, but rather that Amara is way better off just killing frozen enemies with matching weapons. But buffing Go with the Flow would at least reward that a bit more than it does now. And Burn both Ends should be far more rewarding overall without getting out of control on the damage. So instead of making her stacks more powerful I gave her more time to build stacks.
