Yeah I feel like the new shields are a missed opportunity to make Distributed Denial relevant. Super Soldier seems to kinda interact with it, but I’m struggling to pin down how exactly. Feels like you get extra ammo regen with it but only for a few seconds after throwing down the barrier. It’s a pity because if it interacted meaningfully with Super Soldier or Infernal Wish it could definitely be worth speccing in more builds.
The distributed denial is such a disappointing skill, since in paper it sound so interesting but in reality it never works with any shield
It has a few really interesting combos, like doubling the effects of the Mr Caffeine shield, but these good interactions are definitely way too few and far between.
Distributed Denial is only good for booster shields, and even those won’t benefit ally players.
