A Pinch of Hope for Fl4k

Essentially a wish list or something of the likes. Perhaps will be a collective disappointment thread soon TM. So aside for bug fixes, what do you hope to see for Fl4k on the upcoming Patch on April 8th, 2021?

Personally want a rework for the 4th tree, augments and Action Skill. Maybe start by having Take This! be a tier 1 skill. Gravity Snare have innate debuff and default radius of Wide Net augment. Replace Wide Net with either a longbow function or reposition feature.

That their Pets get immunity to radiation damage when they spec into Success Imminent.

And instead enemies dropping ammo and stuff whenever they get hit with Gravity Snare, FL4K regenerates ammo and health instead.

A fix for Monkey Do because the pets bonus crit dmg is good but the bug with it makes it rather undesiderable.
Also, I would really like to see Barbaric Yawp applying to all the Purple pets, and a Cmdlet re-style or some sort, maybe giving it a passive crit dmg or extra chance for a free crit, or maybe swapping one of the skills for 1 point in Megavore. That would be really cool.

That sounds good, mostly because less clutter on field. Fl4k’s pet should get something out of it, no?

Class mod rework should be done. I mean it gets like three defensive skill boosted. Not sure about it getting a skill from another tree though.

Exactly, Forage would make sense if we actually wanted to get close to the enemy.

I suppose? They rarely die but sure they can get a bonus too.

Not that it benefited the pet in the first place. Maybe too wishful there.

About Trees
As you can see from the horrors of FL4K’s purple tree and Zane’s green tree, relegating damage increasing skills to higher tiers will greatly reduce their versatility.
When this happens, they will only be used in specialized builds that pursue that tree.
To solve this problem, damage increasing skills need to be placed in lower tiers as well.
The red-green-blue tree is able to do that, which is why it has a certain usage rate no matter what kind of build it is.

About AS
BL3’s AS needs to be suitable as an activation trigger because of ANOINT.
Fade and R4KK reign above Snare, so you need to be at least as good as them.
If your AS is not good at triggering, you will have to rely on URad, which is unacceptable in terms of diversity as GBX often says.
Even with the ability to collect traps early and shorten the cooldown, the current performance is failing.
There is an urgent need to shorten the cooldown or make it stock like RAKK.
To make up for the weakness of the tree itself, I would like to see a debuff that increases damage to enemies caught in traps.

It’s been 5 months since the release of DLC5. Bugs were found practically less than 2 weeks. People were asking for some changes, bug fixes, etc for this new tree and the likes. I don’t know but it seems like there was plenty opportunities.

Im specifically talking about the pre release and release of the big patch from today
prior that they couldve done something indeed!

That class mod. I just don’t understand…

I already never run out of grenade ammo because they drop like loose change + I never use them. Maybe it’s fun if you play non-mayhem and haven’t bought all the SDUs? <:)

I’m grasping at straws for a reason to buy this DLC, but there is just nothing worth it for Fl4k.

Nonsense, the game is young. There is still hope. Probably. Maybe. Slighty.

Not sure meself. I kind of lost motivation to play, can’t possibly think of reasons to purchase this dlc at the moment.

Honestly tho since I have no clue if anything is coming after season pass 2 there could still be hope. All we can reasonably predict is the Cartel event will return (this month probably?) and we’ll get 2 more Vault Cards, but maybe there will be support in other forms along the way. So I agree with you both if you’re being serious or sarcastic. I just don’t know at this point

The entire 4th tree remaked, Gravity Snare remaked, some minor bugs tweaked. That’s pretty much it tbh.

Sarcastically joking with a hint of seriousness. I do think it’s just the tip of the iceberg but how long must we wait? I’m sadden that they will just give up fast and just consider this game done and move on.

So anyone just laughed when they saw the new Fl4k class mod?

It’s like they are intentionally making them ■■■■ in comparison to what the other classes have access to. You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to know this sort of red text effect shafts Fl4k hard.

It sometimes seems that way, but I want to think they don’t really play and/or understand Fl4k. Like they have some general idea about what kind of character Fl4k is and just throw something akin to it. The effect of the class mod is amazingly horrid. Atleast give us a damage boost in grenades or something. If they fixed Monkey Do, +5 on it sounds pretty good honestly. Also increases Throatripper. Not a bad set of skills on it.
