Heya Buddies, all the back in October 2020 I had a reddit user by the name of r/SentencedToBurn_ send me this awesome build with a save file and everything and he was generous enough to allow me to make a highlight of this build. After making a few small modifications this build has been steamrolling all different pieces of content in the game. I am a big fan of Face-Puncher Builds but I haven’t made a updated in a long time, I Immediately looked to Zane’s Mantis Cannon Skill Tree and I went to work. After some trial and error I found the perfect combination of anointments and gear to allow me to deal Millions of damage on Level 65 Mayhem 10/11 very easily using a combination of the Frozen Heart Shield & the heavily over powered Face-Puncher.

Gear we use: As mentioned before we are using a Face-Puncher & Frozen Heart but we are also using tons of terror anointments to amplify our damage. On Our Face-Puncher we are using the Terror Anointment: Melee Attacks have a 25% chance to apply Terror to yourself. Now you can already tell that most of the other anointments we are running on our build are terror related for example our Grenade (Frozen Mirv Hex) has the anointment: while Terrified, gain increased Damage & Fire Rate. This allows us to boost our damage by significant amount, I’ve found that the damage of our novas from Frozen Heart will sometimes one shot non Badass Enemies which is excellent since our Frozen Heart novas come out constantly due to the anointment: On Action Skill Start, Activate on fill/on break effects of shields. Since we are running the Mantis Cannon we are able to pump out tons of novas which in turn provides tons of utility by Instafreezing all the enemies around us. This is super important for our DPS Since we deal 3x more damage against frozen targets with melee attacks. The only other important piece of gear would be a White Elephant Artifact that allows us to deals tons of damage when paired with the guardian rank perk Groundbreaker. For those of you who are unaware Groundbreaker allows the Vault-Hunter to deal increased melee damage based on 25% of all the damage you have dealt already without melee. Since White Elephant deals non melee Damage but scales off melee damage this allows you to hit crazy numbers. This build uses Kill Skills as well so we are of course running Seein Dead.
General Strategy: Not a lot to think about; just spam Mantis Cannon to proc Frozen heart and go to town with Face-Puncher
I haven’t been making content for the Borderlands Community for a little while now and this was the perfect project to help me get back into the swing of things. I used to post something on here twice a week, whether it would be a new build or a new challenge run but life has been hectic with planning an engagement for my now fiancée. I know this probably doesn’t mean much for the average viewer but it helps a lot to kinda just write this type of things out; Its like a stress reliever I guess haha.
