LVL 72 in Borderlands 3?

With the addition af the 4th skill trees does anybody else think there might be a final level cap increase to 72 in the future?
Imagine al the re-farming!!!

I would be happy if the level cap did not increase again, but I think it will eventually happen.

Hopefully to 69.

We have BL1 at 69
Bl2 at 80 + 10 OP
TPS at 70
BL3 at 65

80 + 10 OP was their most recent level setting before BL3, to an old game and old skill trees. TPS was actually their newest BL skill tree design and the same designer that worked on a few of those characters did the 4th skill trees.

I expect 70 to at least be the next level cap, maybe with Directors Cut.

Seeing they did the level cap to reach 2 capstones, I doubt they’ll add more levels.

But this is GBX we’re talking about hahahaha.

Atm adding more skill points would make us even more OP

And seeing 4th skilltree is optional… Those who do not have it need to invest in skills they probably won’t even use

I wouldn’t want another level cap increase for at least a year — and then only if they put in a mechanic to level up your gear. I am tired of having to refarm gear (5 times in a year!) and I have most things exactly as I want them right now. Another level cap without being able to level up current gear would be a major downer.

Refarming is the name of the game so why not look forward to it. Without farming their is literally no game to play after all. Gear level up mechanics have been talked about by the community but I doubt they will ever be put in as that reduces the longevity of a game that relies on people farming endlessly. Your free to your opinion, just don’t get your hopes up to high XD.

I could see them raising the level cap at some point next year to either 70, 72, or 75 being the new max level if I had to guess.
