Is it just me or is the Iceburger hot (well... cold) garbage?

No, seriously. I’ve gotten two so far, both on M8, both below 3k damage. Did I just get unlucky and get non-scaled versions, somehow? But even then, that wouldn’t be good damage. I did some testing and was hardly able to kill even the weakest mobs with it. The damage sucks, the mag size sucks and the special effect is nothing to write home about, either. This thing needs its magazine increased to about 20 and its damage to maybe 8-9k, then it might be somewhat viable, but as of right now it just seems determined to become the worst shotgun in the entire game.

I’ve got a couple of promising ones in the bank, but haven’t taken them out to the field to test. What’s the special effect?

I got one and tested it on the dummy in Sanctuary. It fires a beam that seemed weak, and randomly (?) throws out burgers which didn’t seem to do a lot of damage. Figured there must be some gimmick in how to use it, but I don’t think it’s great. Banked it and carried on playing.

I’m on honestly it seems like it’s supposed to be a shotgun soulrender type deal but its damage output is kinda poor.

I tried it out while lvling and on endgame and … Well dmg just lacks. I think its gimmick is that it deals 2 elements at the same time. But … Yeah if you don’t do dmg then it won’t help anything.

It fires an incendiary laser alongside cryo burgers. It could be interesting, but the damage is just pathetic for a shotgun and it just is dissastisfying having to reload a laser weapon that often (Mag size seems to be only 6, at least on the ones I got)

I’ve gotten a few M10 versions of the gun with something above 4k damage. It tickles enemies at best. Seems to be more of a meme weapon than an actual legendary.

I’ve found about 4 of them, saved the best one so far. I haven’t heard anything good about the gun so I haven’t used it

Sadly, it’s not that good at all. Plain does not do enough damage to even the weakest enemies. I like the concept of doing fire and ice in the same weapon at once, but it just tickles enemies.

Yeah if it had more damage then it could possibly be useful when proccing Harmageddon but for now just a dust collector.
