It’s probably just me bat after farming off an on all day and finally getting a radiation one at M6, I’m underwhelmed. Maybe I 'm missing the point of the Sandhawk?
It shoots so slowly it appears to function as a short range shotgun? It’s a high capacity rabid sandhawk…and most enemies dodge it! lol
It’s a great weapon and should mostly use it like a SMG, hip-firing at a good mid-close range.
It can come in Full-Auto or Burst-Fire. Their alternatives is Semi-Auto. I’m hearing BF deals bit more damage but FA is fully automatic and for someone like me I don’t like to constantly click to shoot. Still it’s a great sniper that plays more of SMG role

It’ll be worth it once you find a Full-Auto one. I had to stop farming Katagawa because he has some annoying phases that worn me out of farming due to waiting on him to take like 25% of his health before he troll-stall, essentially dragging out the fight. I might tackle him back soon for decent Sand Hawk anointeds
I know. ENDLESS piles of the same thing. Sometimes I can one shot him at the start with Yellowcake.
imo semi is the best and pair it with a macro , for the damage it does its ok to have lower bullet velocity

@cmthomas45 - The burst fire/single shot sandhawk has the HIGHEST base damage of all Sandhawks, so it may take a few more trigger pulls but you will be outputting more overall damage than a full auto variant.
Only keep Sand Hawks with a Semi option.
