I haven’t played Amara since 2.0 came out. If the Rogue Life modifier is selected, does Guardian Angel still kick in or is this skill useless in that case?
I have seen reports of both, but I’ve seen MORE people say that it does work. That’s all I have for you.

He’s been wrong before. It’s best to test it yourself. I did awhile back, it didn’t. But it’s possible I was getting downed twice in rapid succession. I wasn’t really looking to test it at the time, M2.0 was just released.

I think it works inconsistently - and depends on whether you are specced into the “Too Angry to Die” GR perk. If you are dealing damage when you enter FFYL with Rogue Lite, TATD will actually prevent you from immediately dying - and will keep doing so until you stop dealing damage to an enemy. So if you keep dealing damage for the brief period till Guardian Angel can proc, it will work. But if you weren’t doing damage at the instance of FFYL, then RL will instantly kill you before GA has a chance to proc.

Was hoping it would be a clear yes, then you could have that modifier in place but largely nullified. Probably best to just skip it.
It works all the time I’m on PS4 mabye some people who say it doesn’t didn’t realize it has a cool down?
Not only that depending on your gun you can get 1-2ahota off before you actually die so there’s hope.
Running Amara it is my favorite modifier, no nerfing anything, no buddy systems stuck in the walls, no Uber death chasing you. Just you die…you die!

Guardian Angel works on Rogue Life. Mind the cooldown.
But honestly you can get a Second Wind if you manage to kill an enemy fast enough, like before the taking a knee animation ends. Managed it with a Nukem last night but it was a lucky shot / perfect timing.

I run RL, and with a TTB build I get up a lot. But that’s because TTB kills so fast with the 300>90 anoint. However, old reliable killers like barrels are still completely lethal.
