Sandhawk Limited to Cartel Event?

Is the sandhawk only available for the Cartels event? Or will I be able to get it after that ends?

No. The Sandhawk is a M2.0 gun. Please note that it will only drop at M6 or higher. It comes from farming Katagawa Jr. on Atlas HQ. Now until Thursday is the best time to farm for it due to the increased drop rates on Prometheus because it’s the Loot the Universe planet of the week.

It only increases the world drops of com/assault rifles not dedicated drops.

I actually had more luck getting ones consistently before when it was still on Pandora

You can refer to the community loot drops spreadsheet in order to determine whether something is a cartel drop or not.
