How old is Amara?

I apologize if this has been asked before, but I’d like to know how old Amara is. My guess is mid-to-late 20s?

I’d say mid 20s to mid 30s. I get the impression she’s not too much on the young side because she’s done some stuff, built up a reputation and is looking for a new life.

Thanks for the reply! And yeah, I agree, she’s really done some stuff that’s unlikely someone too young would have done. She’s infamous across Partali and beyond.

I haven’t found an official source for her exact age, so I pretend she’s 24-28. I’m in that age range and it makes her easier to relate to. Amara’s an engine of destruction, but pretending she’s around the same age as me kind of grounds her in reality and makes her feel more like an actual person, which makes it more enjoyable to play as her in the game.

Interesting. I’m slightly older than you, 31, and think of her as being around my age or possibly a few years older. Maybe they deliberately left it vague so people can fill in the details from their own imagination according to what they relate to best.

Do you have an official source for that? I’ve never seen one, but I’d like to! Did the Lead Writer state it somewhere?

Two Japanese Kanji

Orshi = to push
Shinobu = to hide suffering

When these two kanji are combined (Osu) they take on a new meaning; combat spirit, the spirit of perseverance, overcoming all obstacles by pushing them aside.

It is sourced in the beliefs of Kyokushin karate, a tough sport that requires these principals due to the nature of that full contact sport.
