Firstly a HUGE thank you to @charrisx for his Lvl 70 Eos/Eclipse videos. I’ve spent month trying to beat them without any luck so gave up .

I came back to TPS 3 weeks ago and decided to reset UVHM and go through it as many times as necessary to get me to LVL 70 then went through it a few more times to try to get decent Jakobs gear.

Finally got a Maggie and a quad a few days ago and tackled Claptastic again… 30 minutes ago i finished… The final battle took about 40 minutes but i got through it… EOS was Waaaaaaay harder than eclipse…

Unfortunately I was hoping to get a luck cannon or flayer to make things easier in future… but this didn’t happen. I’ve tried grinding for them but no luck either.

I don’t really want to face Eos/Eclipse again with the maggie and the Quad… Whats the next best way of grinding for these??

Honestly if your using a Maggie with my build, the event is a joke. This is what the Dastardly Maggie does to Eclipse. And it turns EOS inside out in like 3-4 seconds per phase.

That being said if you are wanting to get your hands on a Flayer/Luck Cannon there is not really an easy way, your best chance at getting them In my experience is rolling the 3 legendary recipe in the grinder where at least 2 are legendary’s from the new DLC. Hope this helps.

i find that purple and glitched rarity jakobs gear can deal with eclipse and EOS fairly well. your not gonna get a stupidly fast speed kill with them, but they are significantly easier to get your hands on.

Thanks, got a flayer from the grinder, so just the luck cannon now, I have a Bowie Maggie, not doing as much damage as you so I’ll look closely at my build and see if I’ve screwed up somewhere.
