So after testing multiple weapons with the annoint I have come to a conclusion that this annoint which is in my opinion an amazing one. Does not work on moze even with auto bear on. I dont know if its bugged or is just straight doesnt work for moze. I tried it with fl4k with gamma burst and it works just fine.
the only “while AS is active” that works on moze is the nova one.
It’s a pretty massive oversight, but Moze can’t make much use out of any of the AS Active anoints because as soon as she exits IB, her AS is registered as ended. AB does not count.
So the 200% damage anoint, the 150% grenade anoint, the 250% returned health damage, etc are not going to work.
Laughable, but not unexpected coming from Gearbox.

I could be wrong but I tested that one too it doesnt work for me either. Honestly I hope it isn’t just me and im spreading false information if anyone else can check the 200asa one if they work for anyone else would help.
The Nova anoint fires off while you are in Bear and specifically says while AS is active, exiting IB is “Action Skill end”

I’m just about to tank Gigamind… The annoint is on a Decaying Barrage, the weapon may be lackluster but its an IB amplifier. Let’s test! And Slass!
Has anyone tested the damage reduction anointment?
I believe I saw it being discussed (sorry no idea where the link is). Basically the thought behind it is it might work, but only by reducing Moze’s damage while in IB and not IB’s damage 
(doesn’t work).
I haven’t tested it myself though.
It most certainly should count as active. Although counterintuitive the best option would be to count ASE when u leave and count as active while auto bear is still on.
A friend sent me a beautiful x3 Mayhem 10 Kybs with a 48 Mag…and this anoint. I was super excited…then it hit me: “While Action Skill is Active”…and I understand why he dumped it on me…LOL

It makes perfect sense why this anointment doesn’t work on Moze (though I agree it yet again excludes her and she should get something similar that does work for her)
Iron bear is her action skill, not auto bear. AB is just a way to get a bit more time out of Bear - he goes on cooldown as soon as you exit, so you are either inside IB or your AS is on cooldown.
Boosting IBs damage by 200% if you hop in while holding a 200 ASA anoint would be a great change tho. Or … they could just scale IB so he was as good as they managed to make him before they shat the bed.
This would help a lot and people might actually start using the rocketeer just to keep these anoints active. We really need more anoints that effect IB, the moze mains are really losing out because of how IB works.

I was wondering about this anoint as well but on Amara. It sounds good but I assume this also doesn’t work with Phasecast or Phaseslam since they don’t really have a duration? I guess it would work with Phasegrasp but you can’t Phasegrasp a boss (which is where you would usually want to make use of it) so it doesn’t seem like it would really be useful to Amara, either. If that is the case…this is really a dumb anointment if it doesn’t work on 2 VH’s.
