So the unmitigated disaster that is Mayhem 2.0 has just been announced with all the terrible details.

As expected, IB will not scale.

All the “fun” of Mayhem 3.0 returns with a vengeance, plus a heaping serving of memes that 7 year olds find hilarious .

May I suggest reserving judgement until you’ve had a chance to actually play the new system? While some details have indeed been announced, we won’t have the full picture until players have had time with it and uncovered all the stuff that wasn’t in the announcement.

Do you have a link for confirmation to this? I can’t find anywhere that gbx said there will be no action skill scaling.

All I can find in the M2.0 thread is mostly you claiming over and over that the end is near and Iron Bear is dead.

I haven’t seen an answer from Noelle about anything since 2 hours ago, before anyone asked about Action Skills.

I thought there was confirmation with a post like this claiming something in such a matter-of-fact way. So glad I wasted my time reading every comment in that thread because of this :roll_eyes:

It is since she was actively answering other questions and IB scaling was one of the first ones, and ane actively ignored it .

Sure man… they will automatically scale IB ti mayhem levels so you can just use your current IB build and farm M10 for the best OP gear and skip all lower Mayhem levels.

Its… kind of impossible to scale IB because they dont have something like Digistruct peak to unlock next mayhem level.

Not trying to be a ****, but can YOU think of a way to make IB scale and NOT negate Lower mayhem levels? Maybe I am missing something

You are right, I was SURE that I/other people had asked before she stopped replying.

Still, it would not be the first time that only certain types of questions are replied to. Not that it’s her fault, but it is kind of annoying communication-wise.

It’s weird seeing the same “wait and see” argument you’ve been using yourself for weeks now being used against you.

I think speaking for myself, I hate the random modifiers system of M3 so there is little to no reason to think I will like it now.

Actually, she did post twice after a question regarding scaling of action skills and other non-gear was posted.

I personally don’t see them scaling with mayhem levels but would be happy to be wrong in two days.

Gear scaling? Maybe there will be a gear level associated with your character depending on what you have equipped? I don’t know. All I know is it doesn’t say anywhere that Action Skills won’t scale at all.

All I see is one person saying RIP IB. I wouldn’t expect her to reply to that. Maybe she will reply more in a bit.

She has one answer after that, and then nothing the rest of the thread. I wouldn’t call that avoiding the question. Avoiding the question was when every update people asked about MoD on ps4 and it being dodged for 5 months.

Sure, I was just including the cartel post as well. And you’re right, she might not have even seen them. But given the history of her posts, it’s probably unlikely that she will post again in these threads. Either way we’ll find out very soon so it’s not a big deal.

Yup, totally agree. It would suck for sure, but I just thought there was some kind of confirmation but nothing more than lack of information and speculation.

This thread could’ve waited 24 hours.

Then you might wanna look again, I brought up the issue and she could have addressed it right then and there but she didn’t which tells you everything you need to know as even if she doesn’t want to spoil any concrete details there would be no reason not to adress this by saying something vauge like “don’t worry about it” unless you want to imply that they actually enjoy seeing people freak out about this. As their past recort shows this is a legitemite thing to worry about.

That was you saying that, where did you say anything else? I didn’t even read your comment the first time because I was skimming for question marks.

The only one I see is someone asking it right before she answered the last question on there, which indicates nothing to me at this point. She always dips out of the threads.

My point is, I wasted my time going through all of that because someone posts a thread saying it like it’s confirmed as fact. I can wait 24 hours to get upset, I just thought someone had actual information and not just it’s-not-what-they-said-but-it’s-what-they-didn’t-say

I’m not defending anyone or anything here. I want to know if it scales not if we think it scales.

What else do you need? It was pretty obvious that this was criticism directed at the fact that IB will most likely be useless after mayhem 2.0 hits. If she felt like that this criticism was somehow unjustified she could have adressed it right then and there but like I said she didn’t.
