Is it just me, or is the “While Gamma Burst is active, gain 115%…” anoint exceptionally rare? Outside of a Jericho, I have yet to find this on a radiation weapon. And it feels like the least common anoint I have seen. I have nearly 3 alts filled with SNTNL cryo anoints, I toss out more +250 or +300 siren anoints than I keep, ASE anoints in every element plus +100 weapon damage abound. And of course I’m tripping over all of the jumping/sliding ones that I don’t bother picking up.
But this Gamma Burst anoint has been rather elusive. Please tell me that it’s just RNG and eventually my luck will turn.
That’s my preference as well, but my friend has a bonus radiation damage build with a Red Suit and a lot of splash damage. So keeping the elemental damage to just radiation is important for survival. Perhaps down the road, once he’s more used to it, he can trade up.
But the real issue is the scarcity of that anointment on anything.
I appreciate the offer, buth with Mayhem 2.0 coming out we’ll probably have to refarm stuff again. We’re mostly build-crafting, but it’s a challenge to see if something is feasible when a particular piece seems so scarce. Well, it is feasible, because I’ve seen videos of it. But often that’s like the advertisement versus what you end up with in the drive-thru.
I found some gear from Slaughter Star, so that’s a start. But I think I only found 2 legendaries with that anoint and maybe a few purples. It might be ones of those situations where you won’t find it until you stop looking.
