Some Deathless Questions

Hey all, just had a few questions about the deathless artifact. I’ve seen some stuff about building artifacts so I think I know the answers but wanted to make sure:

  1. Can deathless spawn with otto idol? (looks doubtful)
  2. Does otto idol grant shield to the user if using moze’s bloodletter com?
  3. Can deathless spawn with grave? (it looks doubtful)
  4. Can deathless spawn with last stand? (this looks like definitely likely)

What if a deathless spawns with hp regen. If you only have 1hp and you regen 139hp/second, can you be killed?

that is…a good question. I believe so as you are not protected from healthgate at 1hp as you need to be at 50% of max hp. the 1hp isn’t considered “max” so you wouldn’t be protected idt.

if you had a bloodletter com on it would just turn it into shield gen though

deathless with health regen on a bloodletter will regen shield like…veeeery slow

I favor the Snowdrift Deathless when running a 1hp build. Highly useful in Wotan fight. Speed increase is huge for Moze. Didn’t find much use for sliding until I starting using it a lot. Now I pretty much run Snowdrift on everything but Pearl of IK. (Obviously.)

Surprisingly Last Stand does work here. It just kicks in whenever you take damage and its not on cooldown.

If you’re at 1hp from a deathless then you don’t have the protection of healthgate. Deathless reserves health, it doesn’t affect the value of your max health and therefore won’t affect the healthgate threshold.

I wonder if with a loaded dice, bloodletter, and only 2 points into thin red line you could make some sort of healthgate build for moze

yea, probably
TD and recharger would perfectly round that build up
but i just cant enjoy it when i dont have my 100% gun damage and 100k shields :v

and the re-charger is a shield that instantly refills itself when its broken with a 20 sec cooldown

so these 2 effects can always happen by turn as long as you keep up your health gate

No. The way legendary artifacts work is they have a prefix and a artifact body effect. Prefixes are lower tier artifact effects, like Snowdrift or Knifedrain or Elemental Projector. Grave and Otto Idol are both legendary artifact body effects, just like Deathless and as such they cannot spawn on each other.

Yes, but it really doesn’t do anything. I guess if you just throw it on you will immediately trigger the effect, however as your health never goes back to above 50% health with deathless on you can’t benefit any further from it.
