I can’t speak for @whatevercb but my guess is that they are attempting to make you aware of an issue that you may not be aware of and given the forum rules they have provided some keywords that you can Google to learn the finer points. In so doing @whatevercb has informed us w/o violating the forum rules. I think that’s rather clever of @whatevercb.

I don’t see any moderator having any issue if you where to vaguely describe what it is to look out for. Your not promoting nor encouraging the use of, you’re simply informing. “Gotta look out, there is a bug that can duplicate skills in your tree if respeced too many times without logging out.”

I agree with you in principle but I’ve seen posts where just the mention of glitches or exploits get tagged as inappropriate. I myself have received warnings when mentioning such things. I think it has a chilling effect and I don’t care enough to try to figure out what specifically can/can’t be mentioned by posting and waiting to see if it gets removed. Therefore I can’t blame @whatevercb for not risking it either; especially and because Google allows us to get the information so easily.

Reporting bugs is nearly always cool. Describing glitches is sometimes kind of okayish. Promoting exploits isn’t ever okay. It’s a fine and deeply contextualised line, for sure.

If anything that crosses the aforementioned grey and fuzzy line gets posted I’ll just contact the poster and request or make an edit myself, okay?

I, for one truly wish this mentioned bug could be fixed. I can’t stand when people abuse it. The game lag that it creates is atrocious.
