I am playing Amara on my PC now so I am starting fresh and I hit 52 last night.
I LOVE Ties that Bind and would love a good build based on that if possible, but all the builds I look at were made oct/sept 2019 and I have no idea what is current.
I am currently kind of using SlifOnes Binder build but is there a newer updated build to look at?
Also, what annointments should I be looking at? 100% ASE?
Amara had remained a solid pick with most builds. There are so many ways to play a TTB build and have success. What play style are you interested in?
Mainly mobbing as I am guessing TTB is still not good for bosses for obvious reasons…
Mainly I want for places like CoS or SlaughterShaft
I meant like what guns do you want to use. Do you want to run around, snipe, be tanky or glass cannon, how aggressive do you play?
Amara has several end game COMs: Driver, Phasezerker, and Breaker all can do high level content easy. And the others can work if you have certain gear or niche builds and high skill.

I would prefer an in your face shotgun type build, but I don’t want to have to depend on the Lob for high dmg.
I think I am leaning to the phasezerker com for faster AS time.
Use my build with a phasezerker, like I have, and a Garcia…you’ll love the combination. The Garcia is a Legendary Jackobs shotgun that Chomp Stomp drops on Eden 6 in the Floodmoor Basin.

You’re welcome! Another good shotgun option is the Stagecoach… Also Jackobs and it’s an Epic rarity. Try to find an x18, x21, or the ultra rare x25 versions. The x16 version is viable as well, but at that point, you’re better off with a Garcia.

Yeah I am PC and I am always looking for Stagecoaches at Earls but best I ever see is x16…I’ve never seen the Garcia

Another overlooked Jakobs shotty is The Cure ( DLC2 ). Sucks that it cant be annointed, but it hits harder than a non-annointed x16 Garcia. Maggie is always a great choice for a little more range

Ok so I ran most of the DLC2 on my Amara finally and used the Garcia you sent me as well as a Soulrender with 100% dmg ASE I found earlier.
I absolutely LOVE the Garcia but damn I am out of ammo in no time even just shooting phasegrasped mobs. Some take like 20-30 shots if armored right or tons of health, then other mobs will die in 1 hit even with a ton of health.
What would be a good annt on shield to run?
I run the ASE with 50% elemental on the next 2 mags… It can be anyone, just depends on the situation you’re in. I also run the same ASE on my grenade mod. So, something like these:
Try to make it two different elementals, though. That seems to help without having to constantly match the elements of your enemies.
