Iām a vote for other: I love her with a Frozen Snowshoe, especially with a Re-Charger modifier. Slide into enemies, freeze 'em for some health, insta-full shield, do it again before the shield cools off, and Tenacious Defense still gives you 40% shields (and I think the healing on impact goes to oneās shield with a Bloodletter, but I havenāt gotten around to researching it to confirm).

Yes, Snowshoe is pretty good for crowd control. I havenāt got a ārechargeā one, but I have one with annointment āwhen entering and exiting IB, create a novaā, which is pretty cool I can freeze enemies quite often.
Double Downer because you can accidentally get this when you search youtube

Double downer is excellent. I usually got a lot in ffyl when I play Moze. Also the accuracy and handling rises are actually very good, shooting in bottomless mag with pinpoint accuracy , no recoil and extra damage, it actually feels more dangerous for the enemies.

Double capacity BBB with 75% shield and hp anointment + 160 splash anointment ftw. Any dot tick has a 60% chance of giving you 20k shield.

oh my god i never thought about it that way. higher BBB capacity means higher shield boosters. goddamn

Yeh and you can abuse it even harder going down the shield of retribution tree. I donāt though, with good parts the anointment are enough, plus you donāt want to lose health gate. Best to keep the BBB regenerating your shield and health gate using Vampyr.

I use to carry a spare transformer for MTD. If Wotan spawned one of those shock baddies I would just stand next to him and get free shield re-fills. Could also shoot yourself in feet with shock Lob.
Then thereās Killavolt, but that feels like cheating

Transformer for me. Although the stop-gap is a really close second. Between the pearl / ch or splash annointments I donāt feel that I need an offensive shield like the sitorak or old god.
I love being immune to one element - itās always useful in heavy mobbing sections like Slaughter Shaft + it synergizes with Blast Master thanks to itās 40% absorb ability. I just wish there was a cryo equivalent of the Transformer

Funny story about Double Downer :
My wife had one at level 57 that she wasnt gonna use. We did 3 rounds of slaughter shaft and she got tired so I had her drop the shield so I can take itā¦ and it dissapeared the second it hit the ground. I spent 5 minutes just staring the ground in amazement.
BL3 sure has a way to troll you sometimes

The ābest shieldā is entirely dependant on what your build is trying to accomplish. If your build is based around being in IB as much as possible or to make him as tanky as possible then you want something like an All-in or a Mendelās Multivitamin which would be rather useless for most other builds.

The BBB imo is the best all rounder along with the Transformer, but just like you said, itās all depends on your build.
Well, I have a mindsweeper build and was perfectly happy with Transformer , then got an old god with 20% added incendiary damage, but then Ib got buffed so now wanted him up quickly with Topped off so now trying BBB.
I dont really use rocket launchers but the grenade and shield refills are helpful.
I guess I can try to get a Transforner with 30% IB cooldown per kill
