I’m trying to build a Zane that can do M4TTD. Currently, I’m rather lost, as every video and post I see involves DLC COMs or Artifacts, and I don’t have any DLC at the moment.
Any tips on great gear would be appreciated.

With the CCC you can also opt for either SNTL or go Clone and with a nice shield do distributed denial, you can also go endless ammo with your clone opting for a cutpurse/facepuncher.
A lot of great builds to try, just search through the forum and you will see a lot that do not rely on Seein Dead.
Just the gear:
Executor COM, Ice Breaker Victory Rush, Redistributors, Brainstormer, Cutsman, Lyudas, maybe Dictators. Those last three are options for Wotan.
I also like the Hellshock a lot but that’s not considered META. But it shreds shields even on M4 TTD so it’s definitely an option IMO.
For your shield you could go defensive with Stop-Gap, Recharger, or Transformer; or offensive with Re-Router or 0.m.
General thoughts on skills:
A CCC build with Drone could definitely work but you could also try Drone-Barrier but with investment in clone tree to get more move speed and Donnybrook.
This is what I use on my jakobs(barrier anoint on weap for extra critical dmg) executor build. Love it and can one shot most with a maggie from across the map.
what shield are you using in this build?
Switch between BBB and Killswitch, but any that proc a drop are good.
