Best shield anoint for GB build?

I’m curious what the regular Fl4k players think about this. I play a Megavore/GB build with Red Fang and until now I’ve mostly just picked a good defensive shield with an ASE Dmg anoint; there aren’t any good anoints specific to GB that come on shields.

I picked ASE damage anoints because, why not? I didn’t see any other alternative that would help keep DPS up through cooldown. And didn’t really feel like I was dying much so defense isn’t a concern to me.

I’m wondering whether it might be better to pick an anointment like ASE increased cooldown rate in order to increase GB uptime.

On the other hand, a combination of Eager to Impress, Head Count, Guardian Rank, and Topped Off would provide a lot of cooldown reduction; so maybe the cooldown from the anointment might not accomplish much.

What does everyone think about this? Cooldown or Damage anoint on the shield?

ASE damage is the best, because it helps during the down time of GB, and you can proc it by cating GB in the sky or by switching to a weapon with 'grant 1 charge of rakk attack" and then switching back to a GB anointed gun.

Damage anoint on AMP shield is best.

I use a stop gap with an anoint that makes my action skill cool down 20% faster, been working great for me

I prefer the elemental damage ASE, I tend to fakeburst before using gamma to get the extra damage, and also because it helps when your skill is in cooldown, you lose a lot of damage and the cooldown is no problem with Head Count.
