Calm, cool, collected on cryo imune

can we get a way this also procs on enemies that cannot be frozen (cryo heavy, anointed, etc.)

it kinda brakes the flow of battle atm (and/or i opt to just run away when i see anointed and avoid them altogether)

now i have to waste points on good misfortune just to keep my drone active…

If enemies are immune to cryo they can’t be frozen, thats how it works.
However if you spec into brainfreeze and hit critspots, you can proc CCC anyway.

That’s the problem. You can’t. You can crit a cryo heavy like Traunt all day, and nothing. Same with Aurelia. Same with any Cryo Immune enemy. The trigger point for CCC is tied to the slow effect. And because Brainfreeze tied the slow effect to cryo, cryo immune enemies can’t be slowed and therefore cannot trigger CCC.

Oh I see. I thought it was the same as with anointed enemies. Thanks for clarification

No problem. It’s not super well known outside of CCC players

Is it really that much of an issue that you can’t proc CCC on bosses or cyro immune enemies? When I used to play Zane I thought that was balanced since you can’t even damage them with cryo none the less slow them.

NOT saying it should freeze or slow them…

I know that’s not what you’re saying and didn’t say it was but it has nothing to trigger it if cryo isn’t building up. Ntm if it worked like that and you could do enough cryo to effect a boss then you would be melting then anyways so CCC would trigger a second before you killed them.

You can trigger ccc on bosses, apparently not on cryo typed enemies, though

I guess I just never noticed, must not have been gud enough.

It’s not every non cryo typed boss though. For example, you can’t get trigger CCC on Wotan’s lower half (i.e., the brain).

That thing resists cryo hard (took me a while to realize this).

It does indeed. :weary:

I haven’t tested it because I just got back to playing Zane, but I’m thinking the sntnl fire rate and reload anoint might be preferable on a corrosive Cutsman against Wotan, to sntnl cryo.

SNTL/cryo is still the better option for two reasons.

  1. Violent Violence and Cool Hands are better at improving fire rate and reload speed compared to the paltry increases provided by the anointment.
  2. The corrosive/cryo combo from a SNTL/cryo Cutsman make short work of Wotan’s minions that are weak to corrosive (e.g., Kraken and mini Valkyrie robots).
