I don’t know if anyone else has thought of this in particular before me, but I really need to get these ideas out there. Obviously, there are a couple Zane class mods that are useless. Techspert in particular had me thinking of what gearbox could do with it to make it usable. I would change Kills to critical hits and maybe instead of full recharge on SNTNL cooldown and duration, just a tiny amount of charge, sort of like what good misfortune does without the diminishing return. And definitely have more than just SNTNL cd- and duration+. I thought of maybe an x%+/x%- to shield charge rate and delay respectively. And why not more buffs to some other things? Like he had a jolt of energy. A tech spurt… Get it?
With a name like Techspert I think of gadgets and it disappoints me that there isn’t really any gadget type things like that for Zane class mods(correct me if I’m wrong). And Zane is all about gadgets! Which really had me thinking… If they were to add a new class mod altogether, I would love to see something like each action skill activation is random, or maybe on a cycle so you get use of each of Zane’s skills. I also think this will make other anoints usable because most Zane’s use SNTNL 100% cryo.
I really hope underused class mods are in line for some work. Gearbox has been making large strides as of late in making weapon builds more diverse and I love it. I mean, if they can buff the weapons, why not some bad class mods, am I right? And of course, all of this requires balancing which I am not good at. That’s why I play the games and not make 'em.
I feel like it was meant to revolve around having no down time EVER with the drone but seein’dead is better at that and more.
He should get a speed buff or damage buff depending on how full SNTNL’s duration is if they wanted to make people consider the mod, in addition to changing the trigger.
Really want us to consider it over seein dead they should remove the refresh and allow for it to launch the drone when activating(or using the effect like drop and switch if still up) any other action skill. There for like a true “Techspert” you are using all your gadgets at once. Then you would probably want to run a more classic CCC type build or even a clone dome build which would add some build diversity over the general 11in undercover 1-2 in Good misfortune and dump the rest down doubled agent build that every one runs but just changes up the gear and coms to match the dmg bonus of the gun you run as your main gun.

i don’t think anybody in their right mind would ever use these (5% on kill?? good luck with that… and shock when they melee your clone? why would i ever want to use that useless crap? 5% on kill sounds like it has more chance to do something)
I was thinking something like: Zane gets Almighty Ordinance for free and can activate it multiple times per cooldown. When SNTL gets a kill with Almighty Ordinance, SNTL gets a stacking damage boost
Basically turns Sntl into Wilhelm with Rolling Thunder.
Things like that have been suggested basically since launch. It didnt happen by now, so its safe to assume it will never happen at all.
Besides seein dead, the conductor mod is quite good for ccc builds but it has very bad skills imo. If you don’t have dlcs, you’re stuck with executor.
