Gearbox has put out a limited time event from now til Friday that significantly increases the chance that the raid specific items will drop in the raid. And by significantly, I mean wtf amounts.
my last raid just dropped me 2 moonfires, 2 kybs (one x3), and 3 tigg’s boom.
with the increased rates, even if you can’t finish it on tvhm m4 non-scaled, drop it down to M2 or 3 on NVHM and farm away to get those great rolls you’ve been looking for.
Event was extended to 4/2.
And yeah, this event is sick. I’ve run takedown four times today on M2 and gotten multiple anointed redistributors, moon fires, and several of the shields.
imagine my dismay when i saw the anointment. thats a functionally parts-perfect x3 kybs, with one of the worst anointments in the game.
I was able to snag a snowshoe with the nova annointment. It’s pretty fun for mobbing with Iron Bear
Ran it a couple more times and the Kyb’s are raining from the sky.
I now have Kybs with the ASE 2 mag anoint in every element. Also got one with RA 100.
And I got a Cryo Redistributor with the 125 Fire anoint for Moze. Thinking I might try a Moze SMG build with all these drops…
I found the delay on Frozen Snowshoe to be way to high, compared to the Frozen Heart.
From a single TTD run:
– 2 anointed Kyb’s
– 2 anointed Redistributors
– An anointed Tigg’s
– 2 unanointed 0.ms and Snowshoes a piece.
Does the nova from the anointment interact with the one from the shield effect? Does it also insta-freeze?
Yeah it does, that’s why i think it’s pretty fun. Pop into Iron Bear and then you can get easy crits with Iron Bear on frozen enemies. I wouldn’t say it’s better than using a transformer/stop-gap/double downer/big boom blaster but I like using it when doing some light mobbing
That’s real interesting. If the damage ASEs weren’t so important, I’d like to experiment with Amara’s nova anointment.
The one thing I’ve never tried is using a Black Hole with the nova anoint. Has anyone checked to see if it sucks in enemies when you jump in IB?
that’s a good question - I don’t know. I don’t think i’ve come across a black hole with that nova annointment.
Ive tried this; sadly it doesn’t share the effect
I keep getting cryo kybbs (i dont care for cryo) or kybbs with low mag size. i fail
kryo’s really strong. its not as strong against armour as corrosive, but it doesn’t have a penalty against flesh.
by any chance does anyone on PC have a zheitsev’s? its literally the one thing thats evaded me to this point.

Just so yall know it is easiest to get the dedicated loot (non M4) by running M1 in true take down mode. You won’t get many if any world drops, however testing my theory again past days all runs were similar but did finally get some SNTL cryo Kybs and Tiggs and ASE badass:
Told a buddy:
“Had gotten 3x redist, 2x snow shoe, 3x nova re-charge, 2x moonshot, and 2x tiggs on one true M1 run this AM. (half the drops came from kraken alone at start and ones at wotan)”
That is just one run.
nah i got one. was planning to use it to debuff while farming at lvl 57.
yeah, mayhem mode doesn’t change dedicated loot drop potential, only world drop.
