During my current battles with Pyro Pete to get a stash of Seraph Crystals I noticed an unusual feature with Pyro Petes shields. I am using a shock SMG, DPUH and shock Pimpernel and use Maya’s Ruin skill for the slag. When blasting Pyro Pete with the SMG the damage per shot is 4399. As soon as the shield is removed the damage drops to 1759. Nothing changes with the attack. Does this apply to all shielded enemies?
Shock is 1.75 or 2× damage(idr which) against shields, against almost everything else it’s neutral

Yes shock is weaker against health.
