I just slapped it on to test this theory out and it can instantly fill up your kill skills if you’re surrounded. I love this more than electric slide!!!
Yeah we figured this out quite some time ago, it’s a lot better with Red Suit which doesn’t require your shield to get broken.
I saw something a little bit ago were people found out about electric slide triggering it so I was hoping it was known but I wasn’t too optimistic about it being common knowledge.
I never thought red suit would do that but if it can stop stakbot… The range is a little more limited but I can definitely see it proc more.
Yeah that’s true it is more limited range. It does work really well with a Barrier build if you play close can easily keep action skills up for you.
My soccer ball of doom is doing it with a double dose of Ember’s Blaze (at least, I think that’s how distributed denial works)
I should really read all the posts before I ask questions lol
I haven’t tested it but I imagine it would.
I’m sure they get hit twice if they’re close enough. I tried an Ember’s Blaze with safe space and best served cold to deal 3 elements by just being close for fun, I just didn’t know it was keeping my kill skills up at the time lol.
If I remember right when I tested Distributed Denial with RedSuit it only did the effect while on the ground, picked up it did not inherit it. I could be wrong it was quite a while ago that I tested.
Good news is that, at least if I lose the Barrier it’s a nova! Not a wasted point then. Lol.
Did you ever test the rectifier with Distributed Denial?
If my shield being down would trigger my barrier to make extra chains that would be pretty cool.
I didn’t ever test rectifier with it no. It’s possible it would work like that, it does for Stopgap.
Well I guess I have a reason to wipe the dust off Zane and try a fun gimmick.
I’m sorry to Zane mains but Seein’ Dead made the game too easy so it’s hard for me to get excited about home boy.
It doesn’t work with rectifier. I set it down, ran away and used the alchemist to keep my shields down and no electricity.
They just don’t like fun.
Did you test if it gives you the electricity after Barrier expires? That’s how the stopgap works Barrier drops and you get the invuln, then your shield breaks and you get it again. It’s kind of far fetched but worth trying.
That’s pretty cool, how high were you when you thought of that?
So it makes the piece of equipment that creates the barrier into a proximity grenade of sorts after the shield expires, I use a quasar atm so I didn’t catch it at first.
This also explains my Rico shield is giving what feels like >90% bullet reflection at times.
It’s the first time I read about the rectifier, but the Red Suit was a thing for sure.
