Hello my name is Breanna! I have loved Borderlands for quite a while now. I’ve been doing cosplay for a couple of years (mostly League of Legends cosplay). This year I thought about doing my own Borderlands Character, for me cosplay can be a bit overwhelming, so what I find that makes it easier is doing outfit inspired cosplay. I have done this for all of my cosplays and it has worked out so well for me. I basically look at the character I want to cosplay as, find attributes about him or her that I want to focus on and create an outfit for them!
So what inspired me for this concept was, the Moxxi’s Bar T-shirt. I always said that it reminded me of a waitress T-shirt. Like the ones they have at Hooters or Chili’s. So I got to thinking, How does Moxxi get all of her work done WHILE running a bar full of Vault Hunters at the same time!? Woman has a lot on her plate. So I was thinking why doesn’t she have an assistant?! A Beer maid of sorts. So that is what I am going to do. Be a Waitress in Moxxi’s Bar.
Below if my ROUGH concept. I have the T-shirt that Gearbox sold last year. I have a pair of Blood wing leggings that I already own (thought that would be a nice reference). And of course a holster for a gun (gotta have dem guns). I might have the holster be a apron, she is a beer waitress after all.
Finally I have one of the loot crates that I am going to attach a strap to and have bottles on top of the crate itself. The Bottles will have custom labels with Borderlands themed beers on them, with some cork lights to illuminate the bottles. I did recieve approval from the original creator to use them for my cosplay.
I have another surprise for the costume too, but you just have to wait and see 
I am super excited about this cosplay! It will be my first Borderlands Cosplay ever!! I hope you all enjoy it
