Every time I play online with partners, and were about to beat a boss, I get kicked off by the host. This is getting frustrateing. When (cozycraig) is the host, this never happens.
I try to host an open game 2 to 3 times a week, as long as I’m not Power Leveling someone or Joining the game of someone whos asked me to help them get through a hard spot, or Pushing up my BA Rank, and in all those games I have only kicked 3 people for disrupting the game.
I have heard that in joining open games that , that was/is is problem, most have the game open only to get randoms in to help kill a boss and just as the boss is about to be killed , they kick all the randoms, so they have pick of the loot their farming for and don’t have to worry about anyone else getting it.
Me, personally, I don’t care, as I tell anyone I help, I don’t care what drops in their game, 9 times out of 10, the Guns/Gear I have is always level 70 and most often better then what drops in theirs and if I need something I farm it in a Closed game
This happened when i was fighting the sentinel before. We got past the first phase, but what he didn’t know is that there was a second phase. Minutes later his game was back open.
I’d just like to point out that not all of them are necessarily just selfish a-holes. Some of them are no doubt but from my experience, if you don’t kick the randoms after boss battle, they’re gonna take everything that isn’t bolted down and leave. You’re either the ruthless conman or gullible victim.
If you don’t like that people take the drops, than don’t open your game for everyone. If you are farming do it on your own or with people you know. My game is always open for everyone if i’m not farming, i find it funny to see them running like crazy for the loot that get dropped. But not everyone is like that. You have good players and then you have the bad players. Same goes for the host.
name names, they will vanish when you shine a light on them
Yep, played today for a bit, battled raid sentinel as Aurelia assisting a Jack, revived him at least twice, sure enough switched to offline when we killed him. Why do I even bother?
I’ve opened my game up to randoms. I’ve seen the “scoop up everything that isn’t bolted to the ground” gamers as soon as it drops. They are kicked quickly. I even heard of a random joining a friend of mines game while farming EOS. the random that joined stood on top of EOS and sucked up everything that was spewing out of him. I was cracking up when I heard this story. I can’t imagine being the host of that game and watching some random stand over EOS and not see any loot shoot out cause the random is taking it all! LOL that is just too funny.
