Searching for a good M4 Moze Build

Im searching for good M4 Build for Moze. I want to have a build that deals a lot of damage, but i dont like the tediore build or a build that only works with rocket launcher. Has anyone a solution ?

I am also seeking the same style of build optimised for normal mobbing but strong enough to take on mayhem mode 4.

I’m working on an updated version of my Jill of all Trades build that can tackle Mayhem 4. No Tediore-tossing, no Transformer, no lvl 1 stop gap-bloodletter-loaded dice immortality combo, no glitching of anointed bonuses for the Recursion or other ricochet weapons, and it doesn’t require that you use a rocket launcher if you don’t want to. So far, it has cleared all Circles of Slaughter and Proving Grounds on M4. If I’ve got time tomorrow, I’m going to attempt Maliwan Takedown but I won’t finalise or announce my updated build until I’ve beaten it.

Sounds nice. I am definitely interested…

Now that guardian ranks are alive again, you can make a strong build with any of Moze’s character mods. Here are my 2 favs.

Bloodletter with skill points spent in Shield of Retribution and Demolition Woman. With this you’ll want a deathless relic and a front loader shield to maximize the shield size before kill stacks. An ideal bloodless will have weapon damage boost and points in desperate measures and phalanx doctrine. Desperate measures will increase your base gun damage, phalanx doctrine increases your gun damage and shield size with each kill with no stack limit but 30 sec life per stack. You can easily double the size of your already huge sized shield. With this you’ll keep your huge shield size replenished through Vampyr. Find a grenade that splits/divides/mirvs into as many grenades as possible as Vampyr heals for each enemy damaged by each grenade. Homing also, to make sure every grenade hits an enemy. Weapon choice is where Moze has way more fun than any of the other VH’s. You’ll want to use mostly Torgue weapons with splash damage. Splash damage will replenish your grenades, and with infinite grenades you have infinite shield healing ability. A good bloodless with Flakker can be an extremely powerful set-up and a TON of fun.

My second favorite is Mind Sweeper with skill points in Endless Mags and Demolition Woman. You’ll want a character mod with +weapon damage and +crit damage, +grenade damage would be ideal. Additional skill points are only granted for 3 skills and are less important than the 3 bonuses. With this you can run both splash damage AND kinetic/elemental weapons. Use weapons that compliment the Mind Sweepers bonus perks. Like if it’s +Jacobs damage or +Dahl damage, play around with those brands to find guns that work well with the build. The key to maximizing grenade proc is using weapons that shoot multiple shots and/or pellets as each projectile has a chance to proc a grenade. The proc’d grenades also deal elemental damage that matches your gun. So electric weapon proc-ing electric grenades will melt shields. Then switch to a corrosive it armored or fire if skin and melt the rest. Survivability is the challenge here. A few options. A lot of people use a transformer shield and will simply throw an electric grenade at their feet to heal their shield. I’m not a fan of this play style, I don’t enjoy it. Personally I use a recharger shield, which is basically a double sized shield and a last stand relic. If my shield breaks, well you can still heal your health with Vampyr, and you still have infinite grenades by dealing splash damage. As long as I’m not cornered by Hardened bad asses, I find it difficult to die. Matching character mod bonuses to weapon choice to relic bonuses can be an extremely powerful build. Also, weapons with magazines over 50 projectiles can often be infinite ammo, never reloading. You can spam enemies with many elemental splash damage dealing SMG’s that generate grenades in your inventory. So you can also spam enemies with grenades, which also crit, which then can proc grenades because of the mind blaster mod. This is also a lot of fun :).

Here is the skill layout for my version of the Jill of All Trades. The only thing you absolutely need for the build is a tracker nade that mirvs and bounces 3 times, which you can farm from a vending machine.

For shields, I like to run a Big Boom Blaster, but you can really run whatever you want — Transformer, Back Ham, Frozen Heart, Nova Berner, even the Rough Rider (especially on with movement speed and ROF bonuses.

For class mods, use whatever you like. I‘M partial to the purple Marksman, especially now that Scorching RPMs boosts IB’s damage.

The key to surviving M4 is weapons selection. Your first priority should be to get a high damage, high ROF corrosive weapon; I prefer the Linoage, but there are plenty are legendary and purple options out there.

The other gun at the top of my list is the purple Atlas Q System AR. Its damage output is tremendous, especially if you can buff its ROF.

I’d also recommend having a Scourge or Lump in your arsenal for attacking groups; totally not necessary though.

Use IB to focus down groups of badasses and enemies with lots or health or armor. You can take care of the rest on foot as long you are constantly chucking grenades to keep your health topped up.

Thanks for all the builds, guys. All of them look interesting. I will definitely try them out. I am tired of constantly chucking shock teddies to keep my Transformer shield up, it just gets boring. I like to use different weapons once in a while as BL3 has so many great ones. I like the idea of using (almost) any weapon I want and using the grenade (so to say in the other hand) to stay alive. The Re-Charger + Last Stand combo sounds interesting, too.
