I just started a Zane character. Fl4k has been my main since the beginning but wondered what kind of goodies are out there for Zane. What is the best build, the best mods and best weapons for him.
I’m already up to lvl 25 and seem to be struggling with damage and dying alot using clone. Any advice would be appreciated.
During my playthrough with Zane. I specced evenly into red/green trees. Just use whatever the strongest weapon you can find. If you are struggling too much farm Earls vendor for a Q-system it will carry you pretty well.
At 29ish or whenever I was able to get double-barrel I specced fully red and used that and gave my clone a Agonizer 1500. A shredda, quadomizer or similar launcher is good too. That made the rest of the process basically easy mode. After getting double barrel all points again went into green tree. Barrier is going to be essential while leveling.

@kabflash Thank you, I will try this tech out. I am glad to know where the Q-system is now, I had heard about it but didn’t know where to get it.
I did google builds though and got a pretty decent crit build that has helped out dramatically. A clone/drone mix with massive grenade drops from both.

The clone/drone combo that I found online is working pretty well other than healing. I have zero regeneration but can swap with clone in fight for life to revive. I’m now trying to find equipment to suit that build. I’m at lvl 28, and have lots of legends but all low level. The Duc, which is working really well. I have the cold shoulder that is lvl 24…I love this sniper rifle and would love to find it at a higher lvl. The cloud kill that really seems to help on mobs with the cloud of corrosive. And (about to replace cause it’s lost it’s kill power but) double penetrating gratifying raisen’s thorn. Also one I would like to find at a higher level. Then with my clone/drone build my clone and drone randomly toss grenades and I have a chance to randomly toss a grenade with each shot. So on grenade I swap back and forth between Whispering ice for awesome cryo attacks, and Tran-fusion longbow, 120% damage returned in health. Now it would be awesome if it was homing, rather than longbow…that way I’m assured a hit each time. But so far so good, I will still compare what you have in your comment to what I have now and make adjustments as I go.
