13+ hours in Trial of Discipline M4 looking for Antifreeze

Average 8 mins a run
Splitscreen (2 Zanes)
200 Arbiter of Discipline loot drops (One set of loot for each Zane each kill)
1 total Antifreeze

I decided to start counting runs after a over a week of spending all my free time running Trial of Discipline with only 1 drop. When I finally started counting I had my second drop on kill 85 and no more in the next 15.

I may have had terrible luck over the past week or two but at this point in time I don’t feel like Trial is worth repeating.

Unfortunately my results were very disappointing so I was just wondering what kind of results you guys had. Do you think that after having to complete an entire trial for such a slim chance at a drop, let alone the chance that it rolls with some beneficial modifiers?

Here’s hoping they boost the chance or give us another source to farm.

What do you guys think?

am having a similar issue for the executor mod. while leveling with other characters on the trial of survival i saw a fair few, but on mayhem levels i havent seen one from the designated source (same with many other designated drops)

all the ones i did get were either mailed to me or from random sources. i do believe though that the antifreeze only has 2 places to get it and cannot drop in the general world drops.

5 hrs for a Bear com, 15 hrs in-no Driver Com, 10 hrs in-no Antifreeze Com.

I want to strangle all the “it’s bad rng” post creators…yeah the rng is bad, it’s bad straight from Gearbox.

Farming a low drop class mod is risky because the rolls are just as important or moreso than the skill itself.

Which is why their dedicated drops was implemented poorly. Rare spawns need to actually spawn then have abysmally low drop rates and then you need good rolls. I’m not going to even consider anointments.

I completely agree and hopefully the developers remove them from trials and post them on something else

I got one after farming that crap for 6 days. I don’t know how many hours it took.

Then I started farming the trial of cunning…

200 runs in Discipline + 20 Valkyrie squad = 1 Antifreeze. I’m happy.
