Are all the money barrels gone? I’ve found one since the patch in ambermire but not always there. don’t see them in the proving grounds anymore Either. Just curious, has anyone been able to buy all the bank upgrades WITHOUT using the money barrel trick? If so, how long did it take you???The most expensive gun I’ve picked up to sell isn’t even $70,000! That being said, why patch these things like money barrels, loot tinks, gun damage glitches. Why does gearbox care sooo much about people finding ways to not hafta spends years farming and trying to save for multiple million dollar upgrades. If there’s a way to make it faster, and sometimes easier, whys it such a big deal to them? I spent my money ($250)on your game, and it doesn’t affect anyone else, what gives gearbox! Was very excited about the bank upgrades until I realized I’ll never save enough for all of them.
the barrels dropped by loot jabbers? yeah i’ve ran across them a bunch just yesterday, the Family Jewel is a good place, they usually spawn in the area just after the first set of vending machines in the ship (the same area that has the ratch/ water puzzle to get to the “red” jakobs chest. also has the echo that Monty gets creeped out by BALEX and GENIVIV getting into each other, and a typhon log) also in the Ambermire the jabber area on the way to the Rogue’s base is usually pretty loot jabber infested, as well as King Bobo’s kingdom in the Voracious Canopy.
As for farming to get the vault space, i used a rubber cheddar shredder and a transformer shield to farm the 1st BadA shock skag from the “Fix Marcus’ vending machine” mission.
If anything changed it’s the guns you use, the loot jabber won’t drop the barrel until his life is in danger, unless you just have ■■■■ spawn rates.
Just use more Jakobs guns maybe?
Get the purple relic that increases cash pick-ups . Get the purple Money tracker grenade. Go to M3. Fast travel to the droughts. Take a vehicle to some skags. Spam the nades. Collect cash. Fast travel back to vendor. Resupply nades. Fast travel back to vehicle. Spam nades. Collect cash. Repeat. I was getting almost $3 million per 11 grenades. Less than 30 minutes to make $100 million.
That’s a great idea, I’ll try that if I can manage to find those items!
dartdodge got the right idea with that money grenade thing. i used cheddar shredder, but any money grenade would work loot expander helps and if you victimize shock skags transformer prevents death.
edit: if you have the booster add on, just get a cheddar shredder out of your in game mail. it is a great source of money bunches.
1 more edit: i did Rumble in the Jungle, and there were 3 or 4 Jakobs money barrels laying around when i did that. so they are definitely still in existence to the point of this thread.
