I started to play around with another build and things were looking very promising damage wise. So I started ran through Mayhem 4 Maliwan takedown and quickly realized how nuts the recursion really is. This is far from the optimal setup and I was messing around, but you could easily take out Wotan in under 5 minutes with Zane. Anyways everything is in the video.

Nice run. Interesting choice to use The Hunted in one point.
Yeah, Recursion is very good when you face large group of enemies. No matter which VH you are playing.

I found that hunted the other day with the 100% ASE and with it being 175% damage to robots I was curious what it would do to Wotan. 1 of the shots it looks like it crit for 170k lol. The recursion its nuts especially with all the new annointments that you can apply elements on action skill end. I was testing out a Re-Router with cryo ASE and it was hitting for over a million when combined with a Snowdrift Splattergun.

Huh. I didn’t know the Recursion was that good. I’ve been using the brainstormer, but that looks so much better. Was I crazy or was that piercing his shields?

It has a learning curve when shooting smaller targets. Wotan is so big it doesn’t matter. It’s also trash against single target, so make sure you have a single target gun when there is nothing to ricochet with.
I’ve been using it since launch and made a video about it’s mechanics a few weeks after launch.

Recursion + a snowdrift splattergun can do some serious dmg with the bonus elemental nades / shields. I hit the test dummy for about 1.3 million.
