Shouldn’t it be fixed so that it is not resisted by shields and armor? That would help make it a staple against the sentinel and other shock-resistant enemies.
I’d love for it to be truly non-elemental. As it looks now, it is an inferior choice to a fire rosie because it neither has DoT nor the bigger continuous damage buff, and on top of that doesn’t even get buffs from fire elemental buffs (despite having the fire elemental modifiers).
I think that a nonelemental laser would break more rules than a developer would be willing to break for an easter egg… Even though the special E-Gun element already breaks more rules than you’d think.
Eh. We have Jakobs elemental guns. It wouldn’t hurt to have a non-elemental maliwan gun.
correct, bl2 was full of illegitimate plasma casters tht were non elemental and worked and functioned like non elemental guns.
i hope they make it a true non elemental.

OMG your post gave me an idea. It seems that every gun which is supposed to have an element, can exist w/o an element. And get this: non-elemental Maliwan snipers are explosive! I wonder if they get buffed by NE,explosive, and grenade damage buffs :3 .
Edit: NE Plasma Caster deals NE base damage, and explosive splash damage. Lawl, that is hilarious and awesome.
Lol, which is why I said they ‘can exist’. I know they can never spawn. Anyway, I play solo, so don’t worry about me bringing such guns into a public game xD .
