Scorching RPM’s- Needs a Buff

The skill in Bottomless Mags that, in theory, should equate to an increase of damage parallel to the fire rate % increase. Not only should your DPS increase, but Crit Damage is supposed to increase. The increase is noticeable, I am not denying that, where the problem lies is when you add a class mod that increases the allotted skill points above 5 points. If one were to equip a class mod with 5 points in Scorching RPM’s, you’d assume that you have hit the jackpot and will be a damage dealing monster. Not the case, the difference between 5 points and 10 points in this skill is not even noticeable. What should be the most important skill in the tree, is the most underwhelming.

When did we start talking about click click? :stuck_out_tongue:

How would you propose they change this? By the very nature of skills that give +x% per level the more points you put in the less overall improvement you get.

Good question, I guess what I question is whether or not we truly get 30% increase in fire rate and 40% increase in crit damage. If we are, then I would suggest increasing the amounts.

I’ve not tested the fire rate but I can vouch that 40% crit is definitely accurate.

I’m not really sure I agree that Scorching RPM’s needs a buff it’s the only skill that boosts fire rate or crit. Both these bonuses are essentially entirely multiplicative to Moze’s dps. The skill is already really good, Moze doesn’t really need a damage buff, survival is where she currently lacks.

Well now that they’ve buffed Iron Bear moze has got a drastic survivability buff.

The current issue is that Guardian Rank perks are broken and possibly explosive punctuation.

Pre-Patch even if I used up all IBs fuel I was never without it for more than 15 seconds.

Now that those perks are broken you can’t
get Cooldowm under 2 minutes unless you’re killing hoards of enemies between ejections.

If I hop in and out of IB I can basically stay alive forever against anything and never have to throw a grenade to heal myself.

If I have a Minesweeper mod kn IB can actually heal Moze if it’s hitting crits.

The only thing I could think of to further increase survivability is to make IBs shield work during autobear so you dont have to 100% depend on vampyr for sustain.

Its a good skill. However, Zane was my first VH and when first playing Moze it blew my mind how good SR’s is compared to Zanes Violent Violence.

It’s a really good passive skill - one of the strongest in the game. Both buffs are effectively multiplicative for Moze. 10/5 Scorching RPMs is +40% Crit and +30% FR all the time.

I’d rather see other Moze skills get a buff (ahem Click, Click) and the BM tree get a rework in general. Scorching RPMs is good as it is.

Scorching Rpms is decent enough really. It’s at a good spot in the tree and provided good buffs.

I’m really disappointed with Click, Click. It’s just downright pathetic and completely ass backwards as far as synergy and interacting with the test if the tree.

Click Click is currently only useful on CoV builds, and even then. It’s limited.
