All the new Anointments (M4 update)

Hello all,

Here’s a list of all the anointments that were added with the maliwan takedown. Not sure exactly on which items they can drop so if you got any drops add a comment with the combinations you have seen so far.

Action skill:
On Action Skill end, gain 50% bonus Fire Damage with weapons for 10 seconds. Comes in all elements.

2 of the same elements will not stack, 2 different ones will. This can drop on weapons, shields and grenades.

Airborne anointments:

While Airborne, Damage is increased by 30%
While Airborne, Accuracy and Handling are increased by 75%
While Airborne, Critical Damage is increased by 25%
While Airborne, Fire Rate is increased by 20%

Sliding:

While Sliding, Damage is increased by 40%
While Sliding, Accuracy and Handling are increased by 50%
While Sliding, Fire Rate is increased by 25%.

Other Variants:

  • While enemies are below 25% health, gain 50% Weapon Damage.

  • Killing an enemy grants 5% Weapon Damage and Reload Speed for 25 seconds, this effect stacks.

  • Consecutive hits increase Weapon Damage by 1% per hit, misses remove all bonuses.

  • On Grenade Thrown, Weapon, Grenade, and Action Skill damage are increased by 25% for 6 seconds. (I believe this only drops on grenades)

It seems like they are added to the universal anointment pool. I’ve seen them spawn during normal playthroughs.

I have seen them come on anything in any mode.
Sometimes they aren’t very appropriate on what they are on though.
I had a 6 shot Jakobs Carbine come with the 1% damage increase on consecutive hits. I was all excited until I did some testing and verified the bonus resets after a reload.
I also had it in a 1 round Jakobs shotgun LoL

Ahah yeh that can happen, like having splash anointment on non splash weapons. What I’m not sure of is whether you can have the 5% reload and 5% dmg per kill on something like a shield or grenade. Although I really doubt it can because it would get op as hell since you never lose the anointment

Nope, that’s a weapon only anointment. All the anointments between the first and last ones can only be found on weapons.
