COMPLETE item wipe

Just a few hours after concluding to myself that Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is a really good game, I experienced a complete wipe of ALL items on my character. After looking into it, I learned that many people had come across similar glitches, but usually, the wipe had only happend to either equipped items or items in the inventory. In my case, EVERYTHING was deleted. I still have my money and my moonstones. But my epic sniper rifle, epic revolver, and AWESOME Moxxi Gun along with lots of other wonderfull weapons had vanished.
Really? Wow.
Apparantly, this problem has existed since the first game in the franchise. And still, it hasn’t been fixed.
I was nearing the end of the game, and I was really enjoying it. But this dumb glitch just ruined the game for me. I don’t feel motivated to finish the game at all when I know my items can randomly disappear when loading the game.
I don’t think this happened because of a crash, 'cause I just exited the game as one normaly would, if I remember correctly.

I love this franchise, but GOD the bugs are annoying. It really needs to be fixed. I can’t believe it’s been around for so long. Fix it, Gearbox. Please. We’re paying for your games. While we can’t expect them to be completely perfect in every way, we should at least be able to trust that no game-breaking issues such as this will bappen.

Hey if its any consolation if you enter Concordia by any means other than fast travel (Back Door, Triton Flats, or Serenity’s Waste) The chest where u got ur Moxxi stuff can be opened again. There’s also a billion golden key shift codes to quickly stock up on purple gear

Those are really nice tips. I will try them out. Thank you

Once a week or every few days will suffice.

Or on completing session in which you levelled up several times while getting well ahead in the story with a character.

This aswell, yes.
Good point. It is better to be safe than sorry.

I just want my wife and kids back.

I know this doesn’t change anything. But you should always back up your game saves. You never know when something like this could happen.

This happened to me. But I realized that I had accidentally hit the “sell all button” at the vendor, then traveled to another map. So it may not be a bug, the button mapping did change since the last game causing my wipe out.
