I just got a title update on ps4, what gives?! Nothing in news section.

Perhaps ghost scaling back won’t be every Thursday after all? Dunno will have to see what it is…

I’d figure the scaling back stuff would be done via hotfix and not an actual patch. It’s very odd I’m not going to download it until we know more about it. Fed up with gearbox’s stealth and not so stealth nerfs to loot an anything else.

That would be hotfix, not patch - you wouldn’t see a change in version number for a hotfix.

FWIW XB1 had a similar unannounced small off-cycle update a while back. Last time I checked I was on version 1.0.0.7 there.

junk / favorite still doesn’t seem to work, that’s the only thing i notice.

I didn’t notice any difference. Perhaps it was a patch to prepare for a bigger one coming later this week?

Game now won’t let me join friends currently in game. Prompt: “The match you are trying to join is running an incompatible version of the game. Please try upgrading your game version.”

That’ll happen if some have downloaded the patch and others haven’t - everyone in a session has to have the same version number of the game.

If I had to guess, maybe they’ve preloaded the Takedown for Thursday? Other games do this so that they can, “Turn On,” the new content for everyone at the same time? Otherwise maybe it’s a small patch specifically for PS4?

Is this patch for consoles only? Because I don’t think my Epic launcher had any updates for the game…

Been trying to look for what’s new, bank space, favorite/trash toggle, nothing. I looked under the notes and it just says “bug fixes”. That’s all.

GBX should be informing us about every patch. I mean, we paid for a copy of the game and they patch it without releasing patch notes?!

Rude.

Even if it is for future content, I’d still like a simple “the recent patch is to prepare for so and so”.

Not seeing anything on XB1 tonight (Tuesday) but last time MS rolled an update out early it was the night before (Wednesday) not two nights. So I’m guessing absent any other information this is PS4-specific?

Whether it was ps4 exclusive or not im expecting it was based in something other than the upcoming patch, it downloaded in under a minute, and at my speeds thats barely 35 Mb. (No options to see unfortunately)

The opening sounds at GBX logo is louder again. I don’t see any other differences.
